We were drenched, from head to toe. When a maid opened the door for me and Seiryuu, she gasped in disbelief and quickly ushered us inside.
Luckily, Father and Mother are not home. If not, it would be hard to explain and harder to seek their understanding.
One of the maids offered to light up the fireplace for us but we declined her kind offer and quickly made our way to our room.
"You go shower first, I'll wait here for you," I shooed her into the bathroom and she quickly made her way inside.
I stripped off my wet clothes before slipping on a hoodie and sweat pants to keep myself warm from the cold.
After several minutes, the sound of water running stopped and Seiryuu came out of the bathroom. She dumped her old set of clothes in the laundry basket and wadded towards the bed.
She was wearing an oversized hoodie and long sweat pants, similar to me. She kept her hands in her pockets and plopped down onto the bed.
"I'll go shower now," I informed and pulled the covers up to her shoulders before heading off.

The warmth of the covers was too comfortable and it's slowly putting me to sleep. However, the pounding ache in my head is preventing me from sleeping.
My head was pounding, my throat was sore and I was feeling colder and colder.
I feel miserable. Keiji.

The warm water trickled down my body and the feeling of it is so refreshing. The heat overpowered the cold and I feel so different from my shivering self earlier on.
I put on my clothes, switched off the bathroom lights and closing the door behind me. I made my way towards the inviting bed, slipping under the comfortable covers. I charged my phone and leaving it on the nightstand, before turning to face Seiryuu.
But what I came face to face with was her in... agony? Her brows were tightly knit together and her breathing was stable. A layer of sweat coated on her skin and her face was pinkish. I reached for her forehead with the back of my palm, and her forehead burned against my hand.
I sat up in my bed and head towards the bathroom. I dampened a towel with cold water and dabbed on her face before setting it on her forehead. I pulled the covers a little higher and stroked her hair.
Without changing my clothes, I grabbed my phone, wallet and stuffed them into my sling bag. Within seconds, I rushed down the stairs and towards the main door.
"Where are you going, nii-san?" I hear Keira's ask from the living room.
"To the convenience store, do you want anything?" I asked as I sloppily slipped on my shoes.
"Chocolates and chips, please!" She sang happily and I hummed in response before dashing down to a nearby store that sells medicines.

I unlocked the door and was greeted by Father, he seemed to be upset. "Why are you out at this timing?"
