A little over four months later, there were significant changes in teenage Akaashi and Seiryuu's lives. They bought a house in the higher areas of the city where they could have a bird's eye view of Tokyo anytime they wanted.
Akaashi enrolled into university, but it wasn't in Tokyo, it was in Kyoto. The time needed for Akaashi to go to school was about 2 hours by train. He'd leave the house before the sun rises and arrive home after the sun sets.
Seiryuu became a housewife, Akaashi remarked that she was amazing at it. He never fail to compliment how delicious was her cooking and how clean the house was every single day. Hearing him praise her made her smile until her cheeks hurt. She was contented with her life, and she thanked her lucky stars for being able to meet him and end up starting a family with him.
Today was another day in their normal lifestyle.
"Sei, I'm heading out," Akaashi whispered to the drowsy girl.
"Huh? But I haven't made you breakfast. I'll go cook something-"
"It's okay. You said you were feeling unwell these days. Just go back to sleep, I'll eat at the cafeteria later on," Akaashi planted a sweet peck on his wife's forehead before closing the door softly behind him.
After that, the young lady shut her eyes and feel herself succumbing to her sleepiness.
Hours later, the sun rose up high. The autumn breeze blew into the room where Seiryuu was sleeping and the temperature in the room decreased.
The sudden chill woke her up and she rubbed her eyes tiredly, wondering what was going on.
"Ah, the window's left open," she muttered to herself before getting up from the bed.
But before she could reach the window, a sudden wave of nausea hit her and she fell limp. She could feel her stomach churning so she scurried to the bathroom as fast as she could.
Unpleasant noises echoed in the room and she felt warm tears welling up in her eyes before they slipped down her cheeks.
She cleaned up after herself and she dragged her feet slowly to the bed. She felt miserably sick, not to mention being all alone at home. She felt like calling her husband, but she didn't want to disrupt him.
"I should go eat something," she suggested to herself and went to the kitchen. She cooked her favourite food, but somehow, she just couldn't seem to down the food. Her appetite seemed nonexistent and she felt so gloomy.
She forced the food down her digestive system before putting away the leftovers into the fridge. She finally couldn't take it anymore when she threw up once again and decided to call Akaashi before she passes out.
She dialled the familiar number and waited for him to pick up.
"What's wrong, my wife?"
"Hello Keiji? I know this may sound unimportant but I don't feel well," her voice was weak and her voice was hoarse, probably from all the puking.
"Of course it's important, what happened? You don't sound too good," he asked with an obvious amount of concern and worry.
"I feel... weird. I don't know what's wrong with me. I made scrambled eggs and ham sandwich with cheese but it made me feel worse," she tried to describe the problem but it just confused Akaashi even more.
"Okay. You want me to bring you to the doctor's?"
"It's fine," she sighed in exasperation.
"What?" He flinched at her sudden annoyed tone.
