Nadia's P.O.V.
Ariadne smiled at me from across the table. We were having lunch on a balcony overlooking the gardens. She asked me, "What would you normally do?"
"Well, now I would have lunch with my brothers, but before going to Camp Half-Blood, I'd probably go to the mall and eat something with my friends," I shrugged.
Her eyebrow arched, "Not with your mother?"
"No. She's regularly very busy,"
"What does she do?" Chill Lady, this is not a reality show.
"She has a vineyard and some small businesses,"
"Interesting," Ariadne nodded.
"What about you?" I asked, mostly to be polite, "What do you normally do?"
"I roam the gardens or entertain myself with the leopards,"
"You mean leopards like Tommy?"
"Is that what you named him?" Ariadne laughed lightly, "I admit it suits him better than Perseus,"
"Why did you name him Perseus? One would guess you'd hate the sound of his name," I questioned carefully.
"As much as I recent him, I can't hate him. He was my first love, and a girl can't forget that. He might not be the one, but he's the one that sparked up those feelings for the first time,"
"I suppose you're righy Lady Ariadne,"
"Do you have anyone special?"
"I'm not sure. I think I love him, but I don't know if he returns those feelings," I confessed.
"Oh," was all she said.
We finished our lunch and Lady Ariadne excused herself saying she had something to do but would send someone to entertain me. I waited in the room I was staying in. A soft knock came and I was surprised to find Eurus standing there. He grinned, "Hey Nadia," offering his arm he said, "care to take a walk?"
"Did Lady Ariadne send you?" I asked catiously.
"Obviously," he smiled.
I took his arm and nodded, "Fine then, where will you take me?"
Thirty minutes later we arrived at a garden with only red, pink, and white flowers. I sat down and looked around, "This is beautiful,"
"Isn't it? I like coming here in my free time,"
"Free time?"
"Yeah, there isn't much to do. I blow in from the east and that's about it," Eurus plucked a flower and gave it to me, "It leaves quite a bit of time to think,"
"Oh enlighten me, what occupies thy mind when thee hath free time?" I mocked.
"Very funny," he chuckled.
"Ok, seriously now, tell me," I elbowed him lightly.
"I think about what it would be like to be mortal. To know that eventually your time will end, and that there is nothing you can do to stop that... it seems scarry. Aren't you afraid?" Eurus looked at me in the eye.
"Not really," I confessed, "I've never been imortal so the thought of death was never foreign to me. That and one of my best friends is a daughter of Hades,"
"Have you been to the Underworld?" his eyes went wide for a second.
"Yeah I was there for a few days on a quest with two children of Hades. Nasty place. I prefer to be out in the open where I can see the sky and feel the wind,"
"Where you can feel me?" he wiggled his eyebrows.
"What?! No, ew. That's gross," I gagged, "You're such an idiot,"
"Calling a god an idiot, hm... was that a good idea?" Eurus raised an eyebrow. I panicked for a few seconds, but he quikly reasured me that I had nothing to worry about. We kept walking for an hour or so.
Suddenly, we heard, "NAAAAAADIAAAAAAA!!!!!" Eurus seemed to recognize that voice too.
He grinned, "I think your step-mother is looking for you, and she doesn't sound happy,"
"Ok remember what I said about not being afraid to die?" I asked. He nodded. "Well I take that back right now," I whispered.
Eurus squeezed my hand, "Relax," he walked right up to Ariadne, "Lady Ariadne, have I told you how genuinly fabulous you look today..."
