The Magician and The Dragon (Hisoka x Reader)

I do not own HunterxHunter or any of it's characters, the storyline is mostly original but follows some of the events of the manga/anime to tie in the story together. I'm going to assume you know or have read/watched it to know the characters and the surroundings. That is all, thank you and enjoy.

Disclaimer because I'm tired of seeing the comments about it. I control your appearance and personality in this book. Some of you may see it as just making an OC, but I see it as new book, new life, new manz. This way you don't feel like you're cheating by reading fanfics of other characters. 

 For generations, the Zoldyck and the Kazumi clans have been practically family. Their alliance furthered to friendship which has been kept ever since. Oddly enough, at the same time when the Zoldyck family were expecting their firstborn, the Kazumi clan were also expecting theirs. 

Illumi Zoldyck. Born one week before me. As for me, my parents named me (Y/n). Illumi and I spent all of our childhood together. Instead of celebrating both birthdays, we would meet in the middle of the week and celebrate. Which, in a family of assassins isn't as fun as one would hope. In training and on missions, our parents soon realized that we were the 'perfect' duo and hence rarely sent on our own. 

However, For a while, it seemed as though we wouldn't be able to complete missions without each other until the day it had to happen forcefully. We managed to get by okay but had to learn to work by ourselves from then on out. Illumi is a manipulator, while I am a specialist. His powers revolve around pins to manipulate his appearance and others, while mine focuses on a strange ability I've had since I was young. For some reason, though my father likes to joke I got it from my mother's side, I've always had strange connections to lightning/electricity meaning that I can control them at whim.

I'm not entirely sure where it comes from but it also allows me to open portals through space that work with the speed of light. They don't work unless I know the place or know someone there. I have to think about the person or place with a clear image in mind or else I run the risk of teleporting into the realm between this world and my portal world, I use that empty void as a prison or secret storage unit, at this point, it's an even part of both. In other cases, if someone knows where we're going, I can use them to think of the place and then teleport.

Using the speed of light that comes from the lightning, I can manipulate projectiles such as cards. kunais, daggers, or any small projectiles. With these, I can never miss. I call it True Aim. The projectiles move at the speed of light and always land their targets. 

When we're not called for the job, we hang around. We go to bars and drink, we join fights in Heavens Arena when we feel like it and sometimes I can even convince him to go shopping with me when I need to. I use him conveniently as my handy helper to get things I can't reach.  The bitch towers over me greatly. My head can comfortably rest on his shoulder, only if I tiptoe or if he's sitting down. He's 6 feet while I'm 5'4. 

 We're somewhat opposites but also alike. I still have part of my humanity, while he shut off all emotions. I can't blame him, it's how he was trained. However, there's a side of him no one else gets to see, no one else but me, the soft side, well what he thinks is soft. There was this one time I was sick from my body starting to adjust to the poison training and Illumi took care of me all by himself without anyone else knowing. He is rather protective but I guess it was expected. He's my older brother, blood or not and I love him. I can't imagine my life without the dork.

Over the years, The Zoldycks had more kids. After Illumi was Milluki. I don't like him. He's too much of a kiss ass, always runs his mouth but I've never seen him do anything but torment Killua. Then there was Killua, my favorite, after Illumi of course. The little guy's strong and bold. Then came Alluka and Kalluto. Alluka can grant wishes which is awesome but has an extreme cost and Kalluto manipulates paper. Alluka unfortunately is something the Zoldycks prefer to keep locked up, however, I do occasionally teleport into her room to see her and bring her ice cream. I'm an assassin, not a monster.
