The two of them stand behind me as if they're looking down on me, which I mean is technically true since I am much shorter than both of them.

After Kai took over, everything felt like a dream. I don't even remember all of it, just bits and pieces.

"The details are hazy but I remember meeting the first dragon lord. Kai. He said something about me being his chosen descendant and going to the homelands and returning the golden crown to restore our legacy. After that everything was a blur." They both look at each other for a moment then back at me.

"So when do we leave?" Hisoka smiles at me. I would love to bring them along.

"You're not coming." And you," I point to Illumi. " I'm still not done being mad at you so don't get any ideas either. This is my mission and mines alone." I can't risk going into unknown lands with them. What if they can't survive, what if they aren't even supposed to be there. A million scenarios cloud my mind burying me in endless worry. I've already almost lost them once. I can't risk almost or even losing them again. I also don't want them to see the side effects of the new powers. They'd just treat me like a fragile porcelain doll.

"When you're finished trying to act like a tough bull, we'll be waiting," Illumi adds.

"But you'd get called out for missions," I turn my other side to face Hisoka, "And don't you have a fight with Chrollo to look forward to." His smile drops momentarily but reappears.

"I'll get my fight one way or another. Why not kill some time with something?" Nice to know he sees me as a time killer.

"I'm hungry I'm going to the kitchen." Wait. If I've been out for 5 days, that means Kikyo is here. Perfect. I go to the closet and grab the recorder then march downstairs ready to pick a fight. Yes, I'm well aware I just woke up from a semi-coma and am in serious need of food and water, but picking a fight with this she-devil is first on my list of to-do things.

Just my lucky day, she's in our kitchen, Silva as well. Walking behind her at the island, I throw the recorder on the island in front of her.

"How did you find this?" Her tone's more shocked and worried than anything. Silva seems unaware of what is the object

"A little dragon showed me the way," I smirk at her. "Hey dad, why don't you go through what's in it," I suggest with an evil tone in my voice. I can feel the fear radiating off her.

"So you know then." He raises his head to meet my gaze.

"Yup. So are you going to tell Illumi to take them out?" I ask crossing my arms over my shoulder. Illumi and Hisoka made their way downstairs and are just witnessing the commotion.

"No. Those 3 needles are in there to protect you from yourself. Until you prove yourself to us those needles will remain intact." My smile has completely faded, shock taking over. He's serious? They're really going to do this. They really do think I'm weak. Well, I'll show them.

I take my water and storm off to my room making sure to slam the door as hard as I possibly can. Sure if I was younger I'd get a beating for that but not when I have a right to be mad. Till I've proven myself my ass. I'm not a kid. I am fully capable of handling myself.

You know what. They want me to prove myself. All perfectly fine by me. Pulling out my phone I dial the one number I haven't in ages. To my luck, they pick up on the second ring.

"Hey hag, you aren't busy are you."

I haven't left my room for the past 2 days. Even though I don't want to, tomorrow is the first ceremony. Hisoka was nice enough to bring some food upstairs for me and ate with me too. I really wanna ask him something, but I can't bring myself to. The words just won't come out. He left not too long ago since Illumi literally dragged him.
