Please let nothing happen to them. I rush out of the cave only to be stopped by 5 weird-looking predators. More Chimera ants maybe? They're tall but hunched over with features similar to scorpions and chameleons.
"Look guys, more food." One of the weird-looking things licks his tongue as he makes his way towards me. I pull my kunai out and pounce into action. Throwing one at the creature closest to me straight into his head, his body dropping to the floor. I focus my attack on the left ones. One of them hits me with their tails sending me back stumbling a bit. That just cut my cheek. His tail is lined with blades. I should pay attention to that. Instinctively I take him out before going for the others. The other two don't give much trouble to kill, however, the last one manages to strike me across the back, left side, and right thigh, cutting deeply into my skin. Something's not right about these gashes. They burn more than they should.
It takes me longer than it should have to get rid of them. They're tougher than they look, almost like fighting an experienced nen user. They managed to cover me in their damned blue blood as well as my own. Now, a portal to the boys.
"Be careful, there's a predator loose possibly large and-" I groan stepping out of the portal, the sight before me locking me in panic, my body unable to move. It's an alligator, but he's standing, with clothes. A Chimera ant. I'm guessing the ones I fought were his subordinates. That however doesn't phase me. It's Hisoka and Illumi wounded badly lying on the ground in pools of their blood that scares me. Their chests are still moving, but barely. They don't have long. They're too far from each other to heal them at the same time. I'm a little out of breath myself from fighting those ants before but maybe I could take out the guy on my own. I can't afford to lose focus. I have to ignore that voice in my head yelling at me to go to them as well as the screaming my body is doing from being inflicted with those blades that seem to have been laced with an unfamiliar poison.
Mizuki, can you move one of them closer to the other? I ask her telepathically. I can try. Good girl. You do that while I try to get rid of this one. Ay ay, boss. I'm on it. She leaves my side and goes to do her job.
"You think you can take me on little girl?" The alligator chuckles. It's really impossible to not stare at the guy. I mean he's an alligator, dressed and talking like a human. You don't see that in your life often. My movements are too slow and weak, I need another plan. Okay wildcard, please don't let me down. I toss the card into the air and strike it with lightning. Please be the scythe please be the scythe.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" I yell frightening the entire island before yelping in pain.
"Nice to see you too babe." One of the options is a nen combater skilled in killing. He's got his own mind and personality which means he can decide if he fights or not, my least favorite draw. I call him Lake. I mean he has blue eyes dark blue hair and flawless skin. The name suits him. He's just like every other flirtatious jackass you would meet. But he is ridiculously strong and well equipped to fight any type of battle.
"Get rid of that for me. I need to heal those two." I order him. He folds his arms and refuses to move. "This is no time to be acting like a baby. Do what you're told!" I scold. He rolls his eyes and prepares to take the beast head-on. Okay, that should give me some time to heal the two.
Mizuki managed to move Illumi over to where Hisoka was. This doesn't look good. They're bleeding from multiple large wounds.
"Not so fast!" The alligator man bites into Lake eating the nen attached to him worsening my body's strength. Great. Just fucking great. Draining me of what I already am limited to.
