Teleporting out of the living room to my bedroom and back, I throw the shirtless asshole my big pink hoodie, throwing a cropped black one over myself. The less this pest knows the better.
Rin Kazumi, or legally, Rin Taramazi. Tall, tan guy with slicked-back red hair and disgusting attitude. He and his mother live in York New, in a beautiful flat with everything they could want and or need. So why is he budding into my life?
"Sis! Nice to see you," He exclaims opening his arms while walking towards me. I teleport out of his way and behind him with a kunai to his throat.
"You have 5 seconds to explain exactly what you're doing here before I end your miserable life." I threaten.
"So hostile," He taunts lowly. " I want something," He chuckles.
"3 seconds." I bring the knife deeper into his skin, grazing just the slightest bit of his skin.
"The Kazumi throne." He's not serious is he?!
"No. 2 seconds."
"The Kazumi throne or dad's life," He continues.
"The Kazumi throne." The words feel like sandpaper coming out of my mouth, but it's what I have to say. My duties are to the clan and nothing stands in the way of that. That's what dad's been preparing me for. "Time's up." I start gliding the knife across his neck when he stops me.
"Dad has poison in him, only I know the cure for it." I don't buy that. Dad has the highest tolerance to poisons among everyone on this mountain, he won't be affected.
"I don't care, bye bye." I glide the knife deeper against his neck, his head falling at my feet. Gotoh walks into the living room humming but stops when he notices the scene before him
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" He takes a deep breath before adjusting his glasses dramatically. "You can clean this one up yourself." He turns around and walks away.
"Yeah, I expected that at some point." I shrug.
"You do have a special way of getting on Gotoh's nerves," Illumi adds.
"That's true, BUT HE STILL LOVES ME!" I shout knowing he would be able to hear it.
"IF THAT FLOOR ISN'T PRISTINE WHITE I'M NOT MAKING THAT CHOCOLATE RUM CAKE YOU LIKE!" He yells back, from the sound of the echo he's in the kitchen.
"Aw man, I was looking forward to that cake."
"Then you better get busy love," Hisoka chuckles. I throw the kunai that was in my hand directly between his eyes, the bastard's lucky I knew he could catch it. Otherwise, he'd really be dead.
"Trying to kill me love? I'm hurt," He pouts, I pull out three shurikens and he walks away.
"Are you sure it was wise to kill him?" Illumi comes up to me and helps me throw the body through a portal to the hounds.
"That wasn't him, Rin has a bunny-shaped birthmark behind his ear and this guy didn't. I suspected him the moment he walked in. Besides Rin doesn't speak to me unless it's a threat." Gotoh brings us the supplies and we clean up the mess.
"This means what I think it does?" Yes, brother dearest. That I can't get more than a few hours of peace before this crazy life pulls me in to solve another one of its problems.
"That he's coming back for the Kazumi throne, possibly with intent to kill, yes," On the honor of this clan I will not let it fall into evil hands. Now it's just to figure out a game plan.
Another shower later, upon seeing it on my nightstand, I pick up the book sitting there reminiscing on that night. I never did get to read this, since my time was occupied by...other things that night, and it is such a cool and windy day. Racing downstairs to the back, I climb into the hammock and enter a journey to a new land.
