Currently you were left in this strange place by yourself.

Sitting criss-cross applesauce on the bed in the master bedroom, alone with nothing but your thoughts.

..................................

"I will be back soon, my love."

Your head snapped upwards.

"W-what? Your leaving me alone here?"

"Yesssss? But don't assume I'm stupid."

"W-what?"

A clawed hand slammed into the wall above your hand.

"If you try to escape we will know, and their will be consequencesss."

"Y-you won't hurt me..."

You whispered softly.

Carnage huffed before chuckling softly and caressing your face, making you shiver.

"Of course not my sweet, Y/n....Your friends and random pedestrian's however? It's all fair game. Do you really want to be responsible for somebody's death, Love?"

.........................................

A shudder rolled down your spine.

Were you really going to risk some random persons life to escape?

Cletus knew you didn't have family obviously, the two of you met in an orphanage.

He'd changed quite a bit since then.

Sure he had his anger issues and all but at least then he'd been a child making it a bit more difficult to act on them unless it was other kids and the elderly.

Back then you'd had a healthy mix of fear and respect for him but now?

Now you downright terrified.

How could you even begin to convince him to let you go?

You'd have to earn his trust.

A naturally distrusting Psychopath.

Easier said then done.

Though you didn't want to push your luck....

He already seemed quite-

Bleck-

Erm...obsessed with you.

So perhaps you could convince him? Though it'd take a lot of flirting and honeyed words.

And the Idea of flirting and being well....affectionate to carnage had you on edge.

Could you really fake it?

You could barely cover your obvious displeasure during NORMAL social interactions.

Being a social, flirtatious, and outgoing little butterfly wasn't exactly your strong-suite to say the least.

You could barely get through small talk with coworkers let alone a Psychopath.

Before you could ponder on any further a loud scraping noise came from outside, alarming you to the fact that Cletus was likely already back.

Your suspicions were confirmed correct when you heard heard the front door open and loud footsteps approaching the basement.

The door hit the wall rather hard, making you jump.

"Oh darling~? I'm home."

He hummed cheerily, though he sounded more psychotic if anything.

He rounded the corner without his symbiote skin, appearing to you for the first time as simply a human being.

Though still a crazy one considering he had a bit of blood spatter across his face, dripping onto his neck.

Noticing your gaze he smirked before purring.

"Did you miss me~?"

You forced yourself to smile back at him, your decision now firmly planted in your head.

"Of course."
