Allura, the Empress of France sits at her son's throne, the king of Russia. She watches the people dancing at the ball, but mostly shes watching her grandson, Akira. He's laughing with his mother, Krolia dancing with her.

He catches his grandmother's eye and runs over to her, "Grandmother, grandmother!" He says excitedly.

"Yes, my dear?" Allura asks smiling.

"Do you have to go back next week?" He practically jumps up and down.

She laughs, "Yes, I must go back, but I have something for you." She says and pulls out a small dark green box.

Akira eyes it with wonder and fascination. While from around the corner, another boy, a servant boy watches Akira with a similar look.

Akira glances at the servant boy and smiles at him. The servant smiles back, though he is soon shoved away by an older butler.

"A jewlrey box?" He asks.

"No, a secret, just for the two of us. She then pulls out a small dull knife. It couldn't possibly be used to hurt somebody, but the words 'together in Paris are engraved on the side. But she put the tip of the knife in the box and turned it.

The box opened and revealed a porcelain model of the king and queen spinning around as if they're dancing. The box starts softly playing a tune.

"Our lullaby," Akira beams.

"So that you can remember me when I'm not here, and pretend it's me singing." Allura starts singing.

On the wind, cross the sea
Hear this song and remember
(Akira joins in)
Soon you'll be home with me
Once upon a December

They laugh, happiness filling the room.

But it ends when the front doors burst open, revealing Haggar. An old woman thought to be a woman of god, before she was banished. She hated the Kogane's for that. She sold her soul to the devil for revenge on the family.

"Haggar, leave. You are not permitted here." The king bellowed assertivly.

She cackles, "No, I will not," she says in a raspy voice. "I won't leave until it has played out, the Kogane curse! All of your family will be dead within four days." She holds up a vile with skull patterns on it, it glowed bright green.

She turned on her heels and left the room.

~Four days later~
A resistance had gathered outside the palace. People who hated the royal family. They broke open the gates and tore down a statue of the king, running murderously through the castle.

Akira and Allura tried to escape, "My music box!" Akira shouted, running back to his room. Allura followed after him.

They got to the room and immediatly found out they wouldn't be able to leave the room. People were right outside. The kitchen boy was standing there. "This way," he said, opening a small door in the wall. "Through the servants quarters."

He closed the door behind him, and men rushed into the room and knocked the boy out. Music box on the floor next to him.

To make it to the train on time, Allura and Akira had to cross the ice. But Haggar jumped for them and grabbed onto Akira's legs.

He screamed as Haggar said, "You will die along with the rest of them. You can't get away."

The ice cracked and broke beneath Haggar, pulling her into the icy water. She died with Lotor watching in horror from the side.

Akira and his grandmother ran to catch the train, trying to get away. Allura made it on and reached out for her grandson. "Akira!" She yelled as his fingers slipped from her hands. He fell on the ground passed out.

That was the last time Allura ever saw her grandson.

Allura's the grandmother for my own reasons. I have reasons for why every character is who they are.
