First, sorry.. I had some personal problems ! But I'm here now! here it is .. the new lesson of French !

Vocabulary for talking about your family !

•ma mère { ma mai(é)reu} : my mother
or you can also say: ma maman  { ma ma-men} : my mum..

•mon père { mon pai(é)reu} : my father/ my dad
or : mon papa ( mon pa-pa)

•ma soeur { ma sseureu} : my sister
• mon frère { mon fraireu} : my brother

•The other words for husband and wife are épouse {ai-pou-ze}  (wife) and époux {ai-pou}  (husband), but these are not commonly used in everyday conversation.

Mari and femme are the words you'll usually use to talk about your husband or wife, but femme literally translates to "woman" and only becomes "wife" in context.

• mon mari { mon ma-rri} : my husband
• ma femme { ma fa-meu} : my wife
•C'est mon Mari/ ma femme : { ssai mon ma-rri/ ma fa-meu}: this is my husband/ my wife

• Ma mère n'aime pas mes amis : { ma mai(é)reu nai(é)meu pa mai za-mi} : my mum doesn't like my friends.

• Ma grand mère ( familiar : mamie ) : { ma gran- mai(é)re } ~ { ma-mi} : my grandma

•mon grand père (familiale: papi) : { mon gran-pai(é)-reu} ~ { pa-pi} : my grandpa

• mon fils: { mon fi-sseu} : my son

• ma fille : { ma fi-yeu} : my daughter

• mes parents: { mai (é) pa-ran } : my parents

•demi soeur : stepsister ( deu-mi sseure)
• demi frère : stepbrother ( deu-mi frai(é)reu )
• beau père : stepfather (bau-pai(é)reu)

Do you have brothers and sisters : tu as des frères et sœurs? { tu a dai (é) frai(é)reu et sseu-reu?
Answer: oui j'ai une sœur et un frère : yes i have a sister and a brother { oui, jé uneu sseureu et un frai (é) reu}
deux sœurs { deu sseureu} : two sisters ..
Deux frères { deu frai(é)reu} : two brothers ..
