Life went back to normal. Except not really. Izuku and Katsuki stayed in the hospital for another 3 weeks, meaning they were away from UA for 2 whole months. They spent those few weeks snuggled in the hospital room watching movies and reading how to do sign language, which both boys had begun to miraculously pick up. Sometimes they had their aids equipped, some days without, and most days they were getting tested with physical and mental therapy. It became natural to be surrounded by doctors, but not in the same way as that twisted institution. The white porcelain walls felt like hell, but anything was better than THAT place. By the time they were released from the facility, they were suffering from complete culture shock, as the outside world seem scary and new. Even bakugo, who's big tough guy persona was complete shattered, was clinging onto deku's clothing as they were being transported back to UA. Though they were allowed to go home, they were under some sort of house arrest without a punishment in place, in order to protect them. Though this was originally an irritating thought, they realised on their dreaded car journey back home that this was probably better for their sanity, after all, they were obviously not ready to go back into normal society just yet.

For the first few days after returning, the couple shut themselves in bakugo's dorm room. The soft 'actual' bed was so unbelievably comfortable, that they practically fell asleep in a calming coma. The only times that one of them would emerge from the previously vacant room was to get snacks for them to ravage like beasts, hospital food got the better of them. They essentially did exactly what they were doing in the hospital room, just without the constant test and the sounds of the groaning machine that supposedly kept them alive. It was peaceful, but sad knowing how damaged their experiences made them. They knew that life will not be the same for a while, but at least they were here.... at least they were free... kinda.

To their surprise, Eri was permitted to stay within the grounds of UA, under the supervision of mr Aizawa and the couple, as the shaggy adult was now applying to become the small girl's legal guardian. This was beyond exciting news for the couple, as they were scared that they will never be able to see her again, but due to her scared nature and how she seemed to calm herself around the boy's presence, they allowed unrestricted interactions between them. Which leads to the present, where a little family were sitting down watching the usual Disney princess films. Izuku had his glasses off, and was sleeping on bakugo's lap, curled up like a little kitten. Eri was sitting up, fully engaged with the film that was being played, whilst leaning on the broad shoulders of a blond figure. Katsuki was stroking izuku's hair lovingly, focusing more on the body below him rather than the repetitive film.

"Sleeping beauty again ? Isn't this the 5th time this week? Geez kid you know there are other Disney films right ? You are the same as deku, he watched lilo and stitch 8x a day." The blond sighed, finally speaking up after enduring 30 minutes in his perfect hell. "I know, but I just like it I guess." Eri shrugged, a tiny bit of a cheeky persona starting to leak through her innocence demeanour. Bakugo scoffed whilst smirking, he folded his arms with a stubborn gaze, staring at the hypocritical film being displayed on his 47" flat screen. "Tch, I don't see why. The princess only shows up for 15 minutes in the entire film and the the three fairy's are fuckin-.... really dumb. Plus sleeping beauty shouldn't need some dumbass Prince, she needs to find a way to rescue herself." He ranted, smiling at his response as he had kept in this debate for a long time, though technically he was trying to logic his way out of a 6 year old's princess film. His well adequate argue was quickly shut down with Eri chuckling and turning around with a strangely familiar smirk.

"Ok boomer." She said before bursting into laughter. Bakugo could feel a blood vessel pop whilst also trying to hold back to urge to laugh. This kid was really going to turn into one of them. "That's it, you lost your kaminari privileges." Bakugo retorted, trying to sound serious, though by the end he couldn't hold back a little giggle. Eri faked whined and then burst into laughter again. Bakugo couldn't help but laugh along. After a few more minutes of quaint little sounds of laughter, eri leaned back down onto bakugo, sighing with a joyful tone he would have never expected 2 months ago. "Seriously though, I just really like the idea of a someone trying to a save their loved one from a forever sleeping curse. It's so romantic." She fully explained, wanting to understand how much love it would take for someone to go through such high lengths to save a beloved, guess she kind of understood a little bit now. This didn't make sense to bakugo, the sleeping curse is basically being dead, and after that what's the point of trying.
