As usual, the night sky was as clear and beautiful as it always is, that the moon stands high above the trees so that it lights up the whole forest, always when darkness falls the animals wake up so that even you can hear the wolf howl to the moon.
My first thought was who the hell is out this late yes I am but who more? As I was backing away from the body that I just hit, the person turns around and when I see the face I get surprised of who it is... Björn fucking Ironside son of Ragnar Lothbrok.
"The time stops for a minute, Björn starts talking"
- Well Hi Astrid, why are you out here alone in the night? Björn asked calmly. - Björn I like the forest because I can escape from the reality you know getting my mind of things. I say. - I know the feeling Astrid well now I can spend it with you if you like? Björn says.
I just nod easy like it was obvious a yes for an answer. We spent pretty much all night together talking and remembered some old memories.
When I was about to finish my sentence suddenly I feel some varm lips on mine and of course I answer the kiss like no tomorrow.
The kiss ends and I look up at Björn, in my mind it feels like a dream came true.
- I have been die to do that, Astrid honestly I have love you since we were kids playing in the woods. That is why I haven't married anyone because I was waiting for you, Every day for 18 years I have been staring at the ocean for your returning. Björn says with love. - Björn I don't have words to answer but I feel the same I have loved you since we were kids, you were the person I wanted to marry. I say with all of my heart.
We both sit there for a moment and breath in the cold night, As we both felt tire, we lay down on the grass and looking up to see the stars shining so bright in the moonlight.
I started to getting cold so I cuddle closer to Björn and just like that my mind, me drifted off to sleep. As Astrid was sleeping, it didn't take long for Björn to drift off to sleep too.
The birds were singing and the sun had just risen against the sky, the light hits me right in my eyes, I open my eyes to see Björn gone...
