As I'm putting the finishing touches to my makeup, I nearly jump out of my skin when I hear a knock on the door. He came to the door?

I open the door, and Yunki is standing there, leaning with one arm on the side of the doorway. He is wearing a black sports jacket over a patterned black and white, loose fitting shirt and tight-fitting black dress pants. His black hair is styled in waves which caress his forehead. As I take in the sight of him, he looks me in the eyes and smiles. We are both silent, as I stand to the side of the door to allow him in.

Yunki walks into my hotel room and stops in front of the door, wordlessly looking me up and down with an appreciative glance. Then he takes one arm and puts it around my waist, pulling me into towards him and his lips meet mine, his tongue hungrily boring into my mouth in a voracious kiss. The sweet scent of his cologne envelopes me in a dream-like cloud.

That was worth waiting for.

I reluctantly pull away, cognizant that if I remain in his arms, we would not make it out of the hotel room for our date. I grab both of his hands with mine. I look up at him and then look down, saying "I...I've really missed you these past few days."

He smiles again and squeezes my hands reassuringly. "Me too. I was thinking of you the whole time. Let me say in person this time, I'm sorry again for leaving you the other morning. But know that my time away from you, working on my music, was very productive. I was sincere when I said that you inspired me."

"Oh....I'm glad. And I'm glad you are here now."

"Then let's go. I have a plan for us."

Yunki takes me to a sushi restaurant where he has reserved a private room. We enter the restaurant through a back entry directly into the private room. Sitting intimately beside each other on the floor on comfortable pillows, we share numerous platters of sushi, sashimi and tempura, drinking soju out of tiny ornate cups. At first, our conversation is light and casual, talking generally about our lives growing up, our families, and our interests. I tell him about my passion for baseball, and mention that Hyun-jin Ryu is playing for the Toronto Blue Jays, so he describes the time he went to see Ryu when he was playing for the Dodgers in Los Angeles and what it was like meeting him.

After we have finish eating, and sipping on the last of the soju, Yunki turns to me and says, "I noticed that during our first conversation, you mentioned that you did not enjoy your job, but that you were at least writing for a living. Did you ever think of writing something other than business documents?"

"I do write other stuff. But nothing that I could really publish or earn a living from. Besides, it's hard to find the time and energy to write creatively, when I spend all day writing for work."

"If you had the time and energy, what would you do?"

"I would write a book. Probably fiction, probably a historical romance or something. Maybe something involving international travel."

"Why don't you just do it?"

"I...I....don't have the luxury. Besides having to make a living, and barely a living at that, I don't have servants to take care of my every need. You were lucky that you were selected by an agency that recognized your talents right off the bat, when you were very young, trained you and allowed you the time and the room to create, to grow, and that provides for your every need. Your situation is a unique situation...not applicable to me whatsoever. We lead totally different lives."

"I was once where you are....but you are right, I am, to a certain extent, lucky I had the opportunities I had. But do you think I didn't work for those opportunities? I've worked very hard. And it hasn't all been rainbows and unicorns. I went through a lot mentally to get to where I am today."
