Cat Scratch pt 2

Peter ducks as Puma swipes at him.
Peter: So, what do they call you? Cougar?
Puma: The name's Puma.
Peter: Puma? Like a mountain lion? Weird thing to call yourself but ok.
Puma: Says the guy who calls himself Spider-Man.
Puma kicks Peter off the building bit Peter quickly sticks to the wall.
Peter: It's catchy. It rolls off the tongue real well.
Puma: Not really.
Puma jumps off the building and grabs Peter.
Peter: Let go, you're gonna kill us!!!
Puma: Heh, not likely.
Puma tosses Peter towards the ground. Peter lands in a garbage bin as Puma lands on his feet. Peter rolls onto the ground, feeling pain throughout his body.
Peter: *grunts* I'll feel that in the morning.
Puma: And you're the one disturbing Kingpin? You're so weak.
Peter: Doesn't matter if I'm weak.
Peter stands up and wobbles a little bit.
Peter: If I don't do what is right, then I'll never live with myself. And since your boss hurts innocent people I have to stop him.
Puma: Even if it'll cost you your life?
Peter: Always.
Puma: Heh, you got guts kid, I'll give you that. But it won't change anything, I will still kill you.
Peter: Heh, that's what they all say.
Peter fires a webline at Puma but Puma sidesteps it.
Puma: Like that would get me.
Peter: Oh I know.
Puma looks up and sees that Peter is flying towards him. Peter swings a fist at Puma, sending Puma stumbling backwards. Peter lands on the side of a wall.
Peter: How do you like that?
Puma wipes the blood from his mouth and chuckles.
Puma: Not bad. But still not enough to beat me.
Peter: Then I guess I gotta bring my A game!!!
Peter jumps towards Puma but Puma dodges and kicks Peter in the ribs. Puma grabs Peter by the head and smashes his face into a wall. Puma grabs a knife from his belt and holds it up high.
Puma: Goodbye Spider-Man.
Puma is about to bring down the knife but Peter quickly grabs the arm that is holding Peter's head and Peter tosses Puma away. Puma quickly lands on his feet and smirks.
Puma: Good, was hoping there'd still be some fight in you.
Peter: *breathing heavily* Oh trust me, I'm stubborn.
Puma chuckles and charges at Peter. Puma grabs another knife and starts slashing at Peter, while Peter barely dodges each slash.
Peter: *thoughts* Crap, he's fast!! I'm barely dodging this guy. Fisk really wants me dead if he sent this guy.
Peter fires a web at one of Puma's hands and pulls the knife out of Puma's hand. Peter then kicks Puma in the gut, making him stumble.
Puma: *cough* Damn you're strong.
Peter: Yeah, it's the proportionate strength of a spider.
Puma: Impressive.
Puma then throws the knife in his hand. The knife flies straight towards Peter's head but Peter quickly dodges it. Puma then charges at Peter but Peter quickly jumps into the air. Peter starts firing webs at Puma, tying him up. Peter then throws Puma into a wall, making him stuck onto the wall. Puma struggles as Peter crawls towards Puma.
Peter: Well, this has been fun but I gotta go. Curfew and all.
Puma: We will meet again Spider-Man. And next time, I will kill you.
Peter: Many have tried and many will fail. Until next time Cougar.
Peter fires a webline and swings away. Puma chuckles and sighs.
Puma: This will require a raise.

Hello everyone, and I know. A brand new chapter. I just felt the sudden urge to write something and I just gravitated towards this story. It maybe shorter then the other chapters, but I wanted to bring you guys a nice chapter with action scenes amd funny quips. Which also makes me wanna ask, do I write Peter well? Is the story good? Are the characters believable? I really wanna know. Anyways, sorry for taking so long. I'm a procrastinator and I know I need to get better at just doing things I want to do. Hopefully I'll write the next chapter soon, no promises. Anyways, I hope you all have a lovely life and I'll see you all later. Bye.
