Chapter 3: The silent treatment

I run to the girls bathroom and out my hand under cold water to try and wash off the blood coming from my knuckles when the door opens.

"Can you leave please I'm kind of in the middle of something" I ask not looking at her.

"That was quite a punch you threw back there." A husky voice said behind me. That's not a girl.

I snap my head around only to me met by one of Austin's friends from the table.

"Uhh, what're you doing here?"

"Well I assumed you'd need some help, also I wanted to praise you for that back there. You got some guts"

"Yeah thanks. I'm alexa" I say offering my un-injured hand.

"Grey" he said shaking it. "So, here let me help you with that" he pulled a napkin out of the dispenser and the first aid kit off the wall. He wet the napkin and dapped it on my cuts to which I sucked in a sharp breath.

"Sorry" he said with a sheepish smile. I nodded and watched as he carefully cleaned my hand and bandaged it up.

"It's not too bad just a couple broken knuckles and some cuts and bruises. Should heal fast"

"Well thank you doctor grey" I said teasingly.

"No problem"

"You're not like the others, are you?"

"Nope, I'm more of the 'mom' of the group I guess you could say" he laughed.

"Yeah" we just sat there and laughed until the bell rung and we went to the rest of our classes. I found out that the rest of his friends are in the rest of my classes too. I have every class period with Austin and his friends, I only know their names but I haven't been introduced yet. They're names are, Jordan, Brendan, Ryker and Grey.

This week has been so weird, after my outburst at austin more people have been saying hi to me in the halls and I've gained a new weird nickname: Fists. Fists. I don't like it but eh what're you gonna do about it. Also, Grey has been sitting with me Jason and Macy at lunch and hanging out with me after school.

So that bring us to now, I'm at my locker putting away my books for lunch.

As I'm putting my books away someone says "knock knock" and knocks on my locker door from behind it. I close it to reveal grey. "Hey"

"Hi grey"

"You should sit with the boys today."

"Nope. No. Absolutely not." I say shaking my head

"Pleaseeee Allie" (yeah he calls me Allie) "do it for me?" He give me those puppy dog eyes and completes the look by jutting out his bottom lip.

"Gg are you forgetting that I bitched your bestfriend?"

"No. If you come I'll buy you food!" He says hopeful. Honestly he had me at food.

"You had me at food" I spoke my mind. "Wow so you'll do it for food but not for me?" He asks

"You get me so well" I pay his head and grab his wrist to pull him to the cafeteria. As we approached the table I dropped his wrist as he introduced me to his friends. "Hey guys this is alexa, Alexa this is Jordan, ryker, Brendan and Austin but you already know him"

"Hey alexa your like my idol now. You're the only one who's had enough guys to shut Austin up!" Jordan gushes. "Hi Jordan and thanks I guess"
I nervously chuckled as I say down in between Brendan and grey. Brendan was on my right, grey in my left, ryker in front of me, Jordan to the right of ryker and Austin the the left of ryker.
