You checked around the corner, no one was in the hallway. Lucky for you.

You couldn't leave the facility at night, otherwise silent alarms would go off. You learned this after a severely mentally ill patient tried to leave at 1 in the morning and created chaos in the lobby.

So you snagged one of the nurse's badges unbeknownst to her. And as karma had planned it for you, she was in front of the exact doorway you needed to exit. "I swear! I had it clipped on my pocket. I can run out to my car and grab my ID." She said, one of the guards huffed. "Nice try, but we'll have to ID you from the main office, now lets go before I have to put you in a room for resisting." He said and she sighed, upset that she probably had to go through some long process.

After they'd turned the corner, you speed-walked to the door and used the badge to unlock the door and leave. You put a black hood over your head and tightened the straps on your bag after shoving the badge in a pocket. You were headed towards the hotel your family was staying at. You needed help from them, for them to take you somewhere that Kylo could pick you up when he arrived.

But you needed some sort of transport.

After wandering the streets you found a subway, if you had to spend most of your night here waiting for a train then you would. You checked the map, and looked for the street the hotel was on. A train stopped only two blocks away from the hotel, and that train would arrive within the hour luckily for you.

You sat on a cold bench, there were only two other people just standing idly, looking at their phones. You felt a little awkward at first but then just ended up in your thoughts.

Before you knew it, the train arrived and you stood up. You boarded the train after several people stepped off the train. You took your seat not too far from the door and waited.

Your breathing felt almost labored, the anxiety was starting to get to you. Sneaking out of a government facility holding patients dealing with abnormal cases wasn't excatly going to make your parents think your were less insane. Not to mention, what if this really was all in your head? How did you know that this wasn't something your mind was making up for you to believe?

But the documents.. the documents on your case were practically enough proof for you. As you were thinking about it, your fists were clentching and unclenching, the lights on the train began to flicker as you were doing so. When you looked up at them they'd stopped.

You looked back down at the ground, minding your own business when you were approached, by a strange older man. "I want your cash." He muttered and you looked up at him, confused. "Give me your money. NOW!" He said, getting more aggrivated by each passing moment. You stood up, scared by the threatening man. "I don't have any-" You began but then he pulled out a knife. "I won't ask again, girl." He growled, the other lady on the subway stood up and backed away, just as you were. Your fight or flight instincts were kicking in, and for some reason your muscles were wanting to move to attack the person. But you didn't know how to defend yourself, or even attack. You hadn't even taken a self defense class in your life.

But instead you stepped forward and put your hands up, the man smirked and airly laughed. "You're gonna regret that." He said, and inside you already were.

He shoved the knife in your direction but it was as if muscle memory kicked in and you moved to the side, you grabbed his wrist and by pulling it forward you used your other hand to punch him square in your nose. He immediately fell backwards onto the floor and the knife fell to the ground with a 'clank'. You turned to the other girl out of pure shock and just as you did the subway stopped. She immediately ran off of the train and to god knows where.

You looked down at the man to see him unconsious and with a bloody nose. You took off as well since it was your stop. You jogged up the steps and out onto the sidewalk. There was quite a few people out but you realized it was because of a nearby bar. You walked down the two blocks and to the hotel.

Once you found it you walked in to see a bored looking receptionist but she perked up. "How may I help you?" She asked as you approached. Slightly out of breath you asked, "What room is Mr. and Mrs. Y/L staying in?" And she looked at her computer but not without giving you a suspicious glance. "What is your affiliation with the residents?" She asked before giving you the room number. "I'm their daughter. Y/N Y/L." You said and she bit her lip, as if debating whether to tell you or not. "ID?" She questioned, you wasted no time pulling your ID out of your backpack and you showed her.

She seemed to relax at your proof of ID and she gave you the number. Room 73 on floor 7. You speed walked to the elevator and clicked the button to floor 7 a few times impatiently.

When the elevator opened you rushed to the room and knocked on the door a few times. You heard a few whispers and someone scrambling to the door. It opened and you saw your father, sleep still in his eyes but he looked at you curiously. "Y/N?" He asked, confused. You smiled. Then you saw your mother appear from out behind him, she was just as shocked as he was.

"I need your help."
