Y/N's POV.
At The Hunting Grounds.

Me and Aasim were walking ahead of Aj and Clem as he was telling me how the traps work and how to reset them.

Aasim: whenever you see a bunny or a walker in the snare, you either kill it or spare it then you untie them and place the rope back down.

Y/N: sure, we better get some good catches around here. Any walker activity around here?

Aasim: hunting grounds are usually clear of walkers, they do get caught in the snares and shit. Whenever you see a ribbon on a tree, he says pointing to a tree with a ribbon around its trunk. traps are nearby. So watch your step. He says while looking over his shoulder at Clementine.

The four of you walk in silence until you and Clem hear walker moans.

Clementine and Y/N in a whisper: guys, shut up a sec / *holds his arm out as a fist*

Aasim readies an arrow in his bow while me and Clem unsheathed our knives and Aj pulling his gun out from his back pocket.

I signed at them with my hands to stay behind me as I investigate the area where the noise came from.

As I came out from cover behind the tree, I saw a walker that got caught in the snare and was swinging back and forth.

I signed at them that It was clear as the three followed behind me as I went closer to the walker.

Aasim: if Louis was here, he'd be swinging his weapon at this like damn a piñata.

Y/N: sounds like Louis to me. You guys go on hunting, i'll reset this.

Aasim and Clementine went off to look for rabbits while I stayed to reset the trap. Aj was watching me closely as I started to use my knife on the walker that was still alive and dangling on the rope.

With one quick motion, I shoved the knife into the side of its skull. Its arms now started to hang from its shoulder as I started to untie it from the trap.

Aj: why do you not bring Bella with you?

Y/N: i just don't bring her out here, I say while I finished getting the rope of the walker's foot as it fell to the floor head first that emitted a loud bone cracking noise. I just don't trust these guys yet.

Aj: well, if you don't trust someone, shoot them in the head.

Y/N: that wont be necessary.

I finished resetting the snare as I turned around and saw Aj holding out his hand for a high five to which, of course, I accepted.

Shortly after, Clementine and Aasim were now coming towards us with Aasim holding four rabbits in one hand and his bow on the other.

Aasim: this wont be enough for the whole school, he said while holding up the rabbits. you guys should go check out the girls at the stream and see if their situation is not the same as ours.

The both of us nodded as Aasim walked away with the rabbits

Y/N: you got the map right?

Clementine: I thought you're the one who is leading the way.

Y/N: hey, we're both new here.

Clementine pulls the map out from her pocket and unfolds it. She points to a direction as she starts walking with me and Aj following close behind.

Aj: hey Y/N?

Y/N: yeah bud?

Aj: can we talk in private?
