Y/N: so, what do you wanna do while you're not on your shift?
Clementine: how about we just look at the stars.
Y/N: chuckles. I would like that, come on.
Clementine went over to my couch and sat next to me as she placed her head on my shoulder while I wrapped my arm around her and laid my head on hers as we looked at the sky.
Clementine: it's beautiful, isn't it?
Y/N: not as beautiful as you.
Clementine: alright, handsome.
Y/N: Clem?
Clementine: yeah?
Y/N: can you promise me something?
Clementine: what is it?
Y/N: that if I get kidnapped or killed-
Clementine: you won't.
Y/N: Clem.
Clementine: I wont let that happen.
Y/N: just promise me.
Clementine: please, i wont let that happen to you.
Y/N: just promise me, if I'm not around anymore, you and Aj will watch over Bella for me.
Clementine: I told you, i'll not let that happen to you.
She began crying as she buried her head onto my shoulder as I rubbed hers.
Y/N: i know that you'll do whatever you can to protect everyone, but what if the plan gets sabotaged and it goes to hell? I need someone to look after Bella, please Clem, you, Aj and Bella mean the world to me. I don't know if I could live with the fact that one of you or both are dead.
Clementine: okay.... Okay.... I promise.
She gets up from my shoulder as we looked at each other as I wiped some tears from her eyes.
Y/N: i know that this is hard for you, watch over her like you watch over Aj, even if i'm gone, i'll still be here. Pointing to her chest. And here. Pointing to her forehead.
She nods we kept eye contact.
Clementine: I love you Y/N.
Y/N: i love you too Clementine.
Both of us closed our eyes and leaned in until our lips connected. We kissed for a few seconds until pulling away and pressing our foreheads together.
Ruby: Clem! It's time for your shift!
We pulled out foreheads away.
Y/N: seems like my love has her shift.
Clementine: yeah, see you Babe.
Y/N: see you. Kisses her cheek.
She stands up from the couch and makes her way over to the tower while I just sat there watching the stars as nature was always my soft spot.
Timeskip.
The three climbed down the tower as I went over to ask if what they spotted.
Y/N: raiders?
Aj: yeah.
Bella: they got a cart and at least 4 people.
Y/N: good spot.
I joined the others that were in a half circle around Clementine.
Clementine: they got a least 4 people all carrying guns and a cart to possibly take people away.
