Chapter 6

Harry stunk. He tried doing the plant station, but he almost poisoned himself. He kept trying every station over and over until he found his talent- explosives. According to his father, there would be a lot of explosives in the games. This was great. He became an expert at arming bombs all the way to defusing them. He didn't want to kill anyone, but if someone was chasing him... He would need it. He tried knives, and surprisingly he had pretty good aim. Maybe Harry could actually win! Harry then got an idea. He was going to team up with someone. But who? Maybe Tasha? No. He didn't want to team up with his sister because what if it was only them? He couldn't kill his own sister. Nico and Hazel? Yes. He went over to them.

"Hey guys. I know I'm going to die if I was by myself, and I don't want anyone here to die, so can we be allies?"

"Why, of course, Harry!" Hazel exclaimed. "The more the better!"

Hazel was excited to team up with Harry. She and Nico were pretty young, so they definitely needed allies. She also saw him at some stations, and Harry was good. Nico seemed to be happy about that too. Even though Hazel's father was the god of death, she didn't want anybody to die. She really didn't want her brother to die. She wanted everybody to come out in the end, even the rude ones. Hazel was as ready as ever.

Tasha was scared. She couldn't believe anything that happened. She had to train though. Her mom would want her to win, but her mom was gone... Gone forever. Hopefully Tasha wouldn't think about her mom in the arena, or she would die easily. She didn't team up with anyone. If she did, she would probably kill them if they talked to her. She couldn't talk to anyone. Ever since her mom's death, she couldn't interact with other humans. The bell rang. Their only day of training was over.
