Training was hard. It didn't matter that Piper trained at Camp Half Blood, this was different. Even the sword training was different. At Camp Half Blood, they teach you how to kill monsters, not other people. Jason tried to help, but he wasn't helping Piper much. Piper didn't like the idea of killing other demigods. She didn't think anyone else did, maybe except for Clarisse or that Neptune girl. What was her name? Oh yeah, River. She keeps looking at Percy like she wants to kill HIM. Who would kill their sibling? Actually, Piper really wanted to kill Ariana. She was very annoying. Piper believed that she never fought until training.

River was blood thirsty. She had to win the games, she had too. She needed to win the games for her, for Neptune, for Rome. And she knew who would be first on her list- Percy Jackson.

Thalia was mad. Zeus had to have her win. She would rather die. No way was she going to kill anyone, but she wanted Jason to win if she died. She still trained though. Train, train, train.

Ariana wished she had lipstick. She couldn't do ANYTHING. She had a huge chance of death in the first minute. She had to win though. She had too. Ariana decided to ally with River. After the plant station, she went to the knife throwing station, where River was.
"Hey River. Do you want to team up?" Ariana said.
"Sure. Why not?" River replied.
What Ariana didn't know was that after Ariana helped River kill Percy, River would kill her.

John was ready. He just had to hope that there was some kind of mechanical thing in the Cornicopia. John had already allied with Leo, Piper, and Jason. When him and Leo got together they would have the highest chances of winning. He just had to watch out for the Apollo kids. He knew they wouldn't kill Leo, Piper, or Jason, but John knew that they were considering him. He just had to watch out. He was ready. He was prepared.
