A New Superhero? Part. 2

a/n- Hey guys so I have about 15 ish chapters in my drafts waiting to be published. Although, you're probably like "why not just publish them all now?" Well, that would defeat the purpose as to why I took a break. I made so many for days or a week for when I have no ideas for a one-shot I can just publish what I have waiting.

I watch as the cars pass by on the street below. I sat on a building, peering down at everyone. I just got done with a fight and saving a few old ladies from burglars. I soon heard some swinging in the distance before turning on my heat scanner. I saw the Spider fellow swinging building to building going my way. I did a soft sigh, not really feeling like socializing. I got up before walking to the other edge of the roof, I did a small glance seeing him quite a bit closer.

I then jumped off the edge of the roof and I did a soft sigh of relaxation, feeling the breeze move against my skin. I heard a small yell behind me, on the roof I was once on. When I got within 5 feet of the ground I pulled up at an incredibly fast speed. I then shot off like a rocket and I turned to see a car speeding down the city. As I was shooting through the air I moved towards my new target. As I was speeding at it, I noticed a SWAT car and a cop car following its tail.

Once I got close to it, I stopped my movements before carefully but gracefully landing on the roof of the car. I glanced at the SWAT car before pointing down at the car then back at them, I noticed a heat signature hand pop up with a thumbs up. I smirked to myself before squatting down and busting all 6 windows. I heard crying and glanced below me seeing a child, with bags of money next to him. 

I moved to the trunk of the car before gently picking up the crying toddler and cradling him in my arms. He clung onto me as if he was scared of falling and I was the cliff edge. I grabbed the bags of money before quickly attaching them to my belt. I watched as the 2 men and woman glance back at me confused. I then shot ice inside the car before surrounding the car in ice causing it to go in a circle at full speed. Eventually they slowed down and when they came to a stop I formed the ice around their car making an ice bubble so they couldn't escape. 

I walked past the ice bubble and over to the SWAT team before taking off the money bags and handing them to an officer. I then gently handed the toddler over to one of the cops. "You wanna get them yourselves or want me to free them?" I questioned, turning my head to look back at the frozen and shivering criminals. I glanced back at them to see them looking at each other before one of them spoke up saying "unfreeze them."

I did a small nod before slowly lowering the ice until it was all gone. I then shifted the ice into water before sending the water back into the air. "Thank you again Death Wolf." One of the cops said to me causing a smile to form but thanks to my helmet, it was hidden. I did a small nod before taking off into the sky, going back to the building I was perched on before. When I got there I squated down on the edge, glancing down at the city.

5 minutes pass

I heard a soft land behind me followed by a small grunt. I felt myself tense slightly at the new presence around me. I checked the charts on my screen and it let me know that it was Spiderman. "Hello Spiderman." I spoke up before slowly turning my head to look at him, my tone was quiet and slightly monotone. He looked shocked and takenaback at my tone and how I knew it was him. "What do you need on this gorgeous night?" 

I questioned as I watched him slowly make his way over to me, I could feel the nervousness coming off of him. "I-I just wanted to see how you were doing and how you are fitting in, being New York's superhero." He stuttered before sitting on the edge a few feet away from me. I smirked to myself as my eyes fell back on the beautiful view in front of me. "Well it's not my first time being a superhero, so I guess I'm doing good. I'm fitting in pretty well, everyone already knows my name." I answered him my voice showing a small sign of happiness. 

I could already feel a bit of confusion off of him "your name?" He asked before I rolled my eyes and commented "yes my superhero name. Not my actual name" I glanced at him without turning my head to see him awkwardly rub his neck looking to the floor. He cleared his throat before speaking "uh yeah, I knew that." Soon I heard my A.I Aosc speak up telling me "Spiderman is Peter Parker." My eyes widened at this sudden news but acted as if nothing happened.
