Chapter 11

"Im not for you. Goodbye."

A terrored shock filled Bokuto's body as he span awake, drenched in sweat, it was just a dream? A dream that scared him however he didn't remember it. He turned to look at the time and it was only 6:35 am. Akaashi was in a deep sleep right next to him, Bokuto's left arm squished against Akaashi's right cheek and the warmth made Bokuto some what safe.

He couldn't fall back asleep. He tried to count sheep but it didn't help him at all. Instead he just kept looking at the ceiling and often peeking looks at Akaashi who slept curled up to him; ah how much he wanted to kiss him but it was too early for it.
Bokuto then saw the clock switch to 7am, the alarm went off and he instantly pretended to sleep, Akaashi woke up immediately, rubbed his eyes and stretched over to turn the alarm off.
Actually, Bokuto had no idea why Akaashi needed to wake up at this time, it was a Sunday and well, yeah no school nor practice so what was the rush? He heard Akaashi stir out of bed and walk to the bathroom to wash up, so he decided to do the same.
The raven haired boy looked as sleepy as ever while brushing his teeth quite slowly, he didn't even notice his boyfriend walk in behind.

"AGAASHSEEE!!" Bokuto screamed pouncing on Akaashi, well his plan backfired. Akaashi hit him hella hard.
"KOUTARO ITS 7AM"
"WHATS WRONG ITS ONLY US AND THAT HURT KEIJI"
"I COULD'VE CHOKED IF YOU ACTUALLY POUNCED ON ME IM BRUSHING MY TEETH"
"IM SORRY IM SORRYYYYY"

quite a morning for the owl couple, Akaashi did infact kick Bokuto out after that but miraculously Bokuto didn't resist and just accepted his defeat from Akaashi.
When Akaashi got out Bokuto was just sitting on a chair. He called out his name and Bokuto came running, Akaashi found it adorable and patted his head.

"I'll be back!"
Was the last thing Bokuto heard before Akaashi went out, he didn't even have breakfast? Well Bokuto, wanted to change that.

Akaashi took of at the bus stop. He entered a building and sat down at the waiting area.

"Hello, are you Mr Akaashi Keiji?"

"Yes."

"Come with me please."

He was lead to a dark room, there was a machine infront of him and he was told to sit down.

"The doctor will be with you in a moment" the nurse said before leaving him alone in the dark room.

Akaashi closed his eyes, he didn't want to have a panic attack.

Calm down Keiji, this is the reason why we're here

"Mr Akaashi?"
The boy nodded and the doctor turned the lights on; almost blinding the boy.
"My Name is Doctor Kaiyu, what brings you to me today?"

"I recently got off Star Tears. Me and my partner are doing well but, it seemed so sudden and I'm confused on how this issue became so minor?"

"Ah, I see. Well first congratulations!" He started," regarding your issue, how quickly did your colours come back? Did you feel fatigued after was?"

"Quite quickly, it happened between 2 weeks and immediately after i fainted but my partner decided not to take me to the hospital since of..personal things"

"Good, your girlfriend is a smart one! Well, we need to run some blood tests and eye checks just in case because this is the first time in months that I've heard that colour came back so quickly."

He wanted to correct the doctor and say "boyfriend" but,no.
He was taken to another lab, looked more high tech. The nurses there looked fully trained and kind. The doctors too.

Akaashi left the building, not much actually happened. His blood pressure was normal but he was told to need glasses, his number was still quite low so it was easy to get a hold of them. He couldn't wait to get home, he was told not to eat anything just in case of a urine test or.... another type of test. But he was clear of it. He went to the bus stop and saw a cute shop. It had keychains of owls that said "I'm his sOWLmate" of course the other one said her but he took both of the his. He couldn't wait to surprise Bokuto with his glasses and cute keychains. He purchased it and quickly ran to the bus that was almost about to leave.

"What...the...fuck...?"

"AGAASHEE IM SORRY I DIDNT MEAN TO I JUST WANTED TO DO SOMETHING NICEEEE"
Bokuto said covered in powder and ash, he tried, HE TRIED baking a cake. A sponge cake and pancakes or something (couldn't really make it out) with egg,butter and powder but it was a mess. Powder on the floor, walls, ceiling?Hell there was even broken egg shells in the mixture, it seemed like hell in a bake off.

"Bokuto, shut up and go clean your self... you smell like rotten eggs"

"Keeijjiiiii!! Forgive meee!"clearly, Bokuto was on the verge of tears. But no Akaashi just shoved him away.
Bokuto hasn't even realised that Akaashi was wearing glasses since he was to scared to see Akaashi's face, he just knew his boyfriend would be mad. At least, he didn't blow up the place.

It was 3 hours later when Akaashi cleaned everything.

"Kouuu you can come down now!!" The setter called out, Bokuto went upstairs after getting cleaned up instead, up the spiral stairs Akaashi met with a sound asleep owl.

Discreetly stepping forward towards the bed, Akaashi brushes parts of his hair that were coming loose. It was soft. Not something that you would expect from hair that's been stood up majority of the time.
He looked in awe at the once was star that shooter across the sky, now lying next to him. As his.

Akaashi leaned in to kiss his forehead but Bokuto moved, just as a coincidence Akaashi kissed Bokuto on his lips. For the first time since the started dating, that was around 5weeks ago at the least.

"A-ah I'm s-sorry!" The words stuttered our Akaashi's mouth. He was scared it was evident.

"Keiji it's okay..what's wrong?"

"It must've woken you up. I'm sorry I'll go-"

Before Akaashi got a chance to move Bokuto snuck in another kiss to the lips, shock over came Akaashi but he didn't dislike it since he was scared he thought of it as a comfort.
Bokuto broke the kiss, he was expecting Akaashi to kiss back but he didn't.

"Akaashi?" His voice had disappointment.

"Yes Bokuto-san?" His voice had guilt.

This moment span around, was there ever going to be an end? Yes, the disease was gone but was Akaashi healed? No, he was scarred.

"Are you scared of me?"

"W-what? Why would I be scared of you...? I-I love you..." the shake in Akaashi's voice made it clear, Bokuto hated it. He hated it.

A quite 'tsk' noise came from the owl looking boy, he just turned away from Akaashi and headed to sleep. It surprised Akaashi how quickly he fell asleep.

The pour of the jug ran through Akaashi's ears, did they need a break? What would happen to Akaashi if they broke up. It's only been a couple of weeks.

The result of the star tears so far:
Together with the one you love might bring you happiness, however the possibilities of that is only with positivity. Love yourself first, love them second.

Second... love Bokuto second? Love me first. I've never loved myself... is that why?
