The guardian

Chapter 4

Phana's pov:

How dare he insult our mate? He deserves to die! My wolf Zen hissed.

I was boiling with anger because of that Golf's words. I was about to say something but i felt Forth squeezing my hand tightly.

I immediately turned to him. I noticed he was sweating badly and he looked really pale. He looked as if he was going to faint any minute.

My anger disappeared instantly and was replaced with worry.

"Forth?"

I was going to ask him what's wrong but before i could do that he fainted.

I managed to catch him before he fell to the ground.

"FORTH!"

I tapped his face hoping to get any reaction from him but he didn't even flinch.

What's wrong with him? We should take him to the pack doctor. Zen said anxiously.

I felt hands on my shoulders. I looked up and saw my parents' worried expressions.

" Let's take him to the infirmary. I already mind linked the Suthee to get evrything ready." Dad said.

I nodded and got up with Forth in my arms.

"Alpha! Where are you taking him?" The blood moon pack's alpha approached us.

"To the infirmary. He needs medical attention." Mom answered.

"No need to do that. We'll take care of him. He's my son. He's always had a weak body." He reached out to take Forth from me. But i turned away before he could touch him.

"Why does it look like you are trying to keep Forth from getting proper treatment? Is there something you're hiding from us?" Dad asked seriously.

Something's fishy about these people.. Zen mumbled.

Just then i felt Forth clutching my shirt tightly. He was breathing heavily. His face was contorted in pain. An he was clutching his chest tightly.

He's in pain! Pha let's go! He needs help! Zen yelled.

I ignored the blood moon pack's alpha and quickly made my way towards the infirmary. I could hear him shouting from behind me but i didn't slow down.

Mom and Dad eventually caught up to me and looked at Forth worriedly.

When we got to the infirmary, Dr. Suthee was already waiting at the entrance.

When he saw us he quickly led us to one of the beds and asked me to lay Forth down on it. I gently laid him down on the bed and took off his suit.

"Please wait outside while i check on him." Dr. Suthee said.

I wanted stay but dad put his hand on my shoulder and pulled me outside.

I tapped my foot impatiently. I was wrecking my brain to find anything that could have caused him to faint. But i couldn't find any. Zen was also really anxious and worried about him.

"He's going to be ok. Relax. I'm sure it's nothing serious." Mom rubbed my back.

"Mom i can't lose him. I just found him. I don't even know anything about him yet." my eyesight started getting blurry with tears.

"You're not going to lose him. Calm down." Dad sat next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

The door suddenly opened and a nurse came out. "Dr. Suthee has asked you to come inside." She said to us.
