The guardian

Chapter 14

Forth's pov:

After kai had explained everything, he let me have control again.

I looked around and all of them had a bewildered expression. I guess that's a lot to take in at once.

Kai had explained everything to me while we were training so it didn't surprise me. Well except for the part where everyone in my old pack is dead.

After a few minutes of complete silence, mom finally spoke up.

"Its lunchtime already. Lets go eat. We can discuss more later." She got up and left.

We followed her to the dining room. When we got there the food had already been served for the six of us.

We ate in in silence. No one spoke a word.

After we were done eating, mom turned to me.

"Forth, how about you and pha go out today? You haven't really gotten to know each other have you?"

I blinked a few times and looked at pha. He turned to me and smiled.

"Good idea. We can buy some new clothes for you while we are at it." He agreed.

I nodded.

"Come on lets go." He reached out his hand.

I took it and we went back to his room.  We changed into some nice clothes and got ready to go out.

After we got ready we went to the garage and took his car.

I was really excited since this is my first time out in the city.

"You're really excited aren't you?" Pha chuckled.

"Yeah. I've never been to the city before." I said while looking out the window.

"You'll get to do it a lot from now on. I'll take you to many different places so look forward to it." he ruffled my hair.

I couldn't stop the smile that formed on my lips.

We went to the mall first. Pha brought me to many boutiques and bought many clothes and shoes for me.

I tried telling him he didn't need to buy so many but he wouldn't listen.

After visiting around 6 boutiques, we went to a café to get something to eat.

I could feel many people staring at us the whole time. It was starting to get uncomfortable.

"Pha? Why are so many people staring at us?" I asked.

"I think they are just admiring your beauty." He smiled.

I blushed at his compliment.

Cheesy bastard. Kai scoffed.

We spent the rest of the day going to different places. Pha took me to an amusement park and a pet shop even. The small puppies and kittens were so cute!

I heard the sound of the shutter a lot of times. I knew pha was taking pictures but i just let him since he looked happy doing it.

By the time we got home, it was already 10 o'clock.

Mom was in the kitchen.

"Oh hey! You're back!" She smiled widely when she saw us.

"Yeah. We just got back." Pha said.

"You should take a shower and go to sleep. You must be tired." She said.

We nodded and went to the bedroom. We decided to keep the clothes for now and arrange them in the closet tomorrow.

After taking a shower-not at the same time no- we both got into bed. I wrapped my arms around pha and buried my face in his chest. He also wrapped his arms around me tightly.

"Goodnight forth."

"Goodnight pha."

I woke up in the middle of the flower field. I stood up and looked around.

Hey.

I turned around to see kai in his human form.

Ready to learn spells?

"Yup. I can't wait."

Good. Let's start shall we?

I nodded.
