Pha's pov:
Kai, Zen and i were lying in bed curled against each other.
After Kai and i calmed down in the infirmary, dad told us to go to my room and rest. Zen wanted to come out so Kai let him.
Kai is lying between us in his wolf form since he feels more comfortable in that form.
My eyes were swollen from crying so much. Kai and Zen were just silent lying there.
We were all startled when the shield suddenly strengthened to like 10 times its original.
We shot up and looked out the window wide eyed.
Then someone landed on the balcony.
Our eyes widened.
He looked different than before. He looked a lot more powerful and had wings. There were light streaks of gold, blue, red and white in his hair. His eyes were a mix of gold, brown, blue and orange.
Kai, Zen and i were frozen.
"Are you going to let me in?" He smiled.
With that we shot out of bed and ran to the balcony.
I wrapped my arms around him tightly and buried my face in his neck where my mark was.
Kai and Zen were rubbing against his sides.
He wrapped his arms around me tightly. His wings curled around Kai and Zen.
I could feel him channel some mana into me.
Then i felt it.
His mark. It came back. And the link was also restored.
My eyes teared up.
"You idiot..... You scared the hell out of us...." I whispered.
"Sorry.... I'm really sorry...." He said softly.
I slowly let him go after a few minutes.
He reached up and wiped my tears.
He smiled warmly.
A smiled formed on my face as well.
Kai and Zen started whimpering.
"Hey... I'm here...." He rubbed their heads
They leaned into his touch.
I could tell Kai was trying to change into his human form but wasn't able to.
"Hey calm down... Your mana is too unstable..." Forth gently rubbed his head.
Kai slowly relaxed and turned into his human form. He immediately latched onto Forth.
Forth chuckled.
"I'm sorry for scaring you guys." He rubbed his back.
"Idiot idiot! Why did you send only me?! You should have sent yourself as well! You idiot!" He yelled.
He just kept silent and rubbed his back.
Kai finally let go of him after a while.
Zen was staring at him.
"Hey..." Forth gently pat his head.
He leaned into the touch and purred.
I'm so glad you're here.
Just then the door burst open and mom, dad, Ming, Kit, Beam and Yo rushed in.
Their eyes widened when they saw Forth.
