Forth's pov:

When i opened my eyes, i felt arms wrapped around me protectively. I could tell from his scent that it was Pha.

He had his face buried in my hair.

"Pha?" I called him.

He hummed softly.

"Are you still worried?"

"Of course i am. I know you're really strong but still...." He trailed off.

He tightened his arms around me.

I couldn't help but smile.

"Pha what do you think about having children?" I asked after a few moments of silence.

I could tell he was surprised by that question.

He lifted himself on his elbow and looked at me.

I turned my head and looked at him waiting for his answer.

"Of course i would love to have children with you." He said. I could see his eyes were welling up with tears.

I chuckled.

"Why are you crying?" I wiped his tears gently.

He grabbed my waist and laid on his back with me on top of him.

"The thought of having children with you just made me really happy." He smiled.

"Then we have a lot of planning to do don't we?" I propped my head on my hands on his chest.

"Yeah." He lifted his head and kissed me softly.

I buried my face in the crook of his neck.

"You know..." I started.

"Hmm?"

"I've always wanted a child of my own. Whenever i saw the small cubs playing around with their parents and their families in my previous pack, i would always dream of having some of my own." I said.

He was gently stroking my hair.

"Well we can make your dream come true then. I also look forward to it." He planted a soft kiss on my forehead.

"So." I lifted my head and looked at him.

"I'll definitely come back to you. I'm not going to die. No matter what." I assured him.

He looked hesitant but nodded eventually.

"You trust me right?" I asked him.

"Blindly." He replied immediately.

"Then have some faith in me. We still have a lot of things to do." I poked his nose. He scrunched it. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"You promised to bring me to many different places didn't you? You better keep that promise." I added.

"Yes sir." He chuckled.

I laid my head on his chest and listened to his steady heartbeat.

We just laid on the bed enjoying each other's warmth for a while. There was only the soft rustling sound of the curtain in the room.

We will come back here no matter what. I said in my mind.

Yeah. I agree. I don't want to leave these two alone. Kai replied.

Those demons are not going to know what hit them. No one's going to die. I'm going to make sure of it.
