Okay I heard this story, it's not a joke, but it is the cutest thing I have ever heard. Please read it-- it is so sweet!
A girl got a rare and deadly disease and her only chance for survival was a blood transfusion, from her 5 year old brother, who had survived the disease so the antibodies is in his blood. When they asked him if he'd be willing to donate his blood for his sister, he only hesitated for a second when he agreed to do it. When they were transporting the blood into his sister, he was smiling, but then stopped and asked the doctor, "Will I start to die right away?"
He had thought he had to donate ALL of his blood to his sister, and thought he was going to die, but was willing to do it anyway for his sister.
I got all teary eyed when I read it. Wimpy I know, but that is the bravest 5 year old I have ever heard of.
