Dallen

"It's going to be great dude," says Tommy pulling up to Bradley's house.

"You said that last week. It fucking sucked," I say, slamming the car door.

"Yeah, but this week Bradley managed to get even more booze and Mitchell is here today," says Clark. Mitchell nods and confirms. He didn't come last week because of a family situation and I really wish he had because none of what went down would have happened.

We walk into Bradley's house and of course, there was already a million people there.

"Boys, so glad you could come. There's beers and all that stuff in the kitchen," says Bradley.

I go into the kitchen and grab a beer. As soon as I turn around I see Chasity sitting on Gavin's lap. Gavin, who is just using her for sex, is our teams quaterback. I'm sure Chasity is just using him for sex too. Why did I even date her?

I take my beer and sat down on the couch. There was football on and I was happy. If I wasn't playing I might as well be watching.

"Hey Dallen, how've you been?" asks David, a guy who I talk to on the swim team.

"Great actually. Totally pumped for the new season. How about you?"

"I'm doing okay. I've been training hard for swimming but nothing new," says David.

"Got to love sports."

"Right. It helps me keep my mind off things. Speaking of which, what do you know about Marissa Mint?" David asks. My stomach churns we he says her name.

"I've had a couple conversations with her. She's cute though," I say.

"Yeah I know. But last time I tried to talk to her she totally went off on me," says David shaking his head.

"Yeah that sounds like Marissa. You didn't hear this from me but she's kind of had a rough past," I say.

"I mean I've known her since middle school. I guess it's my fault for being a douche in the seventh grade. I just thought she would have let it go by now."

"Well, I know her enough to tell you that Marissa doesn't let things go," I say.

"I know that now. You should have heard what she said to m-"

"Alright! Everybody get into the living room," says Bradley cutting off David. I sigh and get up from what I thought was already the living room. I have been to Bradley's house a bunch of times but his house is so huge that it blows my mind. He has like three living rooms.

When I get into the room I see a lot of people sitting in a large circle.

"Spin the bottle time," says Bradley. Not this again. I look around. I suppose it will be better this time sense there is plenty of people playing. I decide I might as well play.

"Alright you know the rules. Whoever spins gets to kiss who ever it lands on," says Bradley. I look around the circle. My chances are good of not kissing someone totally disgusting. There's too many girls to name but out of all the girls I know Polly, Nancy, Savannah, Yesenia, Kara, Dana, Olena, Marissa, Morgan, Brenda I think her name is, Chasity and a girl named Hilary. Most of these girls are cheerleaders except for Marissa and her group of friends. Olena is sitting next to Savannah, who I guess is the only one who hasn't completely stopped talking to her. Marissa keeps laughing with Morgan. She is obviously already very drunk. My mind darts to Arden. I wonder why she isn't here. Her and Marissa are inseperatable. I then question myself. Why do I even care where Arden is?

"Alright, Mitchell you can spin first," says Bradley, handing the bottle to Mitch.

Mitchell spins and it lands on Yesenia. They both move closer inside the circle and just as their lips are going to touch, Bradley interrupts them.
