New year, new scene. First thing I had to do was go to an award show, the Soul Train Awards. I was nominated for two awards which I won BOTH. I don't remember that actual nomination title but in the end, I won and that's all that mattered to me. I imagined Pac right by my side every time I'm winning.

This was my favorite look EVER because purple is my favorite color and my hair was on mf point! I loved it all. I love the industry in general...just not when it fucks you over. When I got home, everybody threw me a surprise party.
"CONGRATULATIONS!!!" Everybody said. "Congrats on winning your award, Lisa!" Natina said. Natina was almost gonna give birth soon and I'm surprised she's still the jolly, jumpy girl that she was before she was pregnant. I didn't see Chilli or T-boz. We had another argument about my solo stuff. I didn't care to see them right now anyway, I was over pleasing them.
"But Chilli told us that Tionne is in the hospital again..." Shamari said, lowly. "Why didn't she call me?? Ugh whatever, I'm going there." I grabbed my keys and rushed down to the hospital Ti was staying at. I asked for her room number and I was rushing to see her.
Shamari called to see if I was there, "Yeah, I'm heading to the room right now!!" I said, kinda loudly but I didn't care. I entered Ti's room and I smiled which formed a big smile on her face. "Hey Lisa.." she said giggling. "Hey girl! Crisis again?" She nodded but I wasn't finna let this moment turn into a negative moment. "I saw you win your awards. I'm proud of you, I really am. You're a like a lil sister to me." She smiled. I grabbed her hand, rubbing it. "I love you Ti." "I love you too. Now at the end of the month, we have a performance to do so we're gonna go into rehearsals next week. We gon work our asses AWF honey." Tionne cackled which made me laugh real hard.
