April 2001

I was a month and I was gonna wait until 4 months to go to the doctor and tell everybody. I was tired like seriously. TLC had a big Fanmail after we took a break from touring. I was so excited because it's been a while since Ti's crisis that we'd been on stage.

"You ladies ready??" Bill said and we all nodded. "Alright, let's get a picture!"

We all looked so beautiful and was so excited. Every time feels like the first time we've ever stepped out on stage and laid it DOWN. And I'll tell you, we had it packed!

We performed as a trio then we had our solo times, which was my favorite. I had a magic act that i performed and it was fun and everything all while my bundle of joy was inside. I had the crowd going crazy. Tionne did her thang and Chilli did her thang. But i personally think mine was better if I do say so myself

"Thank youuu!! And we want y'all to know...that TLC is foreva!! Not going NOWHERE! We foreva!! But till next time! Thank youuuuu!" I said as we did our outro. "Woo! Nice job, sissies! We did that shit!!" I exclaimed while high fiving them. Then we went to our own dressing room to leave and everything.

WEEKS LATER

"HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY, SHOUT IT OUT!! OH HAPPY HAPPY, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! CAUSE YOUR SUPPOSED TO GO CRAZY BECAUSE ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY NOW BREAK IT DOWN!!" We all sang our 'Happy Birthday' remix to Tionne while she blew out her candles, we cheered for her.

Me, Chilli, Jermaine Dupri, and Dallas threw Tionne a birthday bash/baby shower. It was her 31 so of course we had to go big and NEVER go home. Tionne's boyfriend and her baby father, Mack 10 showed up and surprised her...with a wedding ring.

"Tionne Tenese Watkins...will you do me the honors and let me marry the best woman on planet earth?" She immediately smiled and accepted while everybody cheered for her. "WOOOOOOOOO!!" I said cheering and clapping. I was so proud of her for thriving. She's been amazing, no health issues. I had a ultrasound today and Natina also had a surprise announcement for me which I couldn't wait to hear.

"OK Ms. Lopes let's see the baby!" The doctor put the gel on my small belly and she gasped, "Ms. Lopes, I don't just see one baby...i see TWO."

"Wait, Im having TWO babies???" I smiled in disbelief.

She printed out the ultrasound photos and I walked out in excitement. I rushed home and hid the pics in my pocket. "Nat...I'm gonna have TWO BABIES!!" I pulled out the pics and we both squealed with excitement. "Have you told Maralei yet?"
"Nah, this is the perfect time. MARALEIII!!"
She came running downstairs "Yes mommy?"
"Baby I have a surprise for you...you see these?" I pointed to the little babies in the photos.

"What's dat, Mommy?" She looked up. "You're gonna have two more siblings..:you're gonna be a big sister!" She gasped. "So you having Bebe?" She giggled.
I nodded and then laughed, "Yes, Mommy's stomach is gonna get big! Like a big ole watermelon."
"I like watermewons.." she smiled. "Good job baby. Mommy's gonna make you lunch shortly ok mama?" She nodded then grabbed her juice box

"OK Li, I have a surprise...i am finally..moving out." Nat rubbed her hands and smiled.
I smiled and hugged her, "My little niece, I love you so much...you're growing up!" I laughed.
"Wait a section!-"
"Second, babygirl."
"Tina you're leaving??" Maralei said with a sad face as tears formed in her eyes
"Aw Ly, I won't leave you! I'll always be over everyday. And whenever you need a babysitter, I'll be there for you ok mama?"

She nodded and smiled. "OK so where you moving to?" I asked.
"3027 Joseph Stone Mountain..andddd I also have another surpriseeeee...I'm also having a little baby o-" I screamed then hugged her tight. "NATINA- DID YOU JUST SAY YOUR HAVING A BABY??"
She laughed and nodded, "Yes..I am! Sounds unbelievable but to be honest, I'm kinda scared and excited.."

"Oh girl, it's just the nerves. By when the lil baby gets here, you'll feel the greatest!" I smiled.

(We're gonna skip a few months)

August 2001

I heard bangs at my door at 2am in the morning. "What the fuck...?" It was Kidada..streaming tears down her cheeks. "What the fuck you want?"
She sniffed, "Its A-Aaliyah...turn on the tv." She sniffled and walked in the house. "Oh SURE..you can come in!!" I said sarcastically, turning on the news and I listened to the reporter

"Aaliyah and the members of the record company boarded a twin-engine Cessna 402 light aircraft at the Marsh Harbour Airport in Abaco Islands, the Bahamas, to travel to the Opa-locka Airport in Florida, after they completed filming her music video for "Rock the Boat". They had a flight scheduled the following day, but with filming finishing early, Aaliyah and her entourage were eager to return to the U.S. and made the decision to leave immediately. The designated airplane was smaller than the Cessna 404 on which they had originally arrived, but the whole party and all of the equipment were accommodated on board. The plane crashed and caught fire shortly after takeoff, about 200 feet (60 m) from the end of the runway."

I couldn't believe what I heard then I checked my pager.

MISSED CALLS (3): LIYAH

"See!" Kidada cried. I was upset, angry, sad, mostly angry. I threw my pager to the point where it shattered and broke. "WHAT THE FUCK?!"
I sat on the floor with my hands in my face. "Why does everyone keep DYING AROUND ME?!"

Seriously...why is everyone dying around me? First my father, Pac, and now Aaliyah...I don't know what the hells going on but I better not be next.
