Today was the day we had an appointment ready to meet the director of the reality show, this show has been popular ever since many idols have joined and has been cast for years. No wonder Jimin was scouted and cast as the male lead.
We were waiting for the director inside the meeting room. I was getting nervous that my whole body is stiffening. I'm not a social type of person, but I've always had a group of friends, I can also talk to people I get close to. It's like being an extroverted introvert, you know?.
[You get what I mean there? I hope so...]
The door swung open as the enthusiastic director enters the room and sits down to the chair opposite us. He was extremely lively, very different than what I thought his personality would be.
"G' morning, I'm very happy to finally meet the Park Jimin who's always dominating the music charts around the world–"
"–and his girlfriend, of course, she looks magnificent" he held my hand and almost, ALMOST kissed it when Jimin pulled it back to me
"Ah, sorry if I was a bit too forward to you"
"Now to the reality show, it's going to be aired next month so we have to shoot right away, ehm, is your girlfriend joining?" Jimin looked at me and I looked back at him
"I-it's not really my thing to act, I might just turn into a distraction and delay the shooting, please, if you don't mind me declining" I tried to make it as polite as possible for him
"Oh, okay then it's only–"
"Then I'm not joining" Jimin cut him off, his response made both our eyes widened
"B-but why? Didn't you accept the offer about a month ago? You can't back down now" the director began to stutter at the loss of words
"Why did you decline?" I looked at Jimin with a face of disbelief
"Because you won't go, then I'm better off not joining" he crossed his arms and stood up
"I'm sorry Mr. Zen but I won't be joining this reality show, I hope it won't be a hassle for you to find another male lead to replace me" he bowed and pulled me by the wrist and walked both of us out
I pulled back my wrists and stopped, he immediately looked back at me. He walked closer and looked me in the eyes.
"Tell me why you declined the offer, the sincere reason why not some excuse"
"I've got no time for his reality show, besides I don't like working with the rest of the cast he recruited" he held my wrist and looked at me before dragging me to the elevator
I just sighed. I realized that his hand that was holding my wrist went down to my hands and held it, he looked at me to see if I was okay, I didn't really respond.
"Let's go and have a date, hmm?" And once again, he flashed one of his angel smiles, making me question if I still have feelings for my boyfriend
'Am I just going to fall for him this easily?'
Time Skip: Restaurant
We didn't eat lunch so we went straight to a restaurant, it was the balance of fast-food and classy. Weird. Weird that he would eat at such a place, never knew he would or I've just never imagined.
