One year. Yes, one year has passed since Jimin left the country. These past year has helped me develop as a different person. I was even able to write a novel which is one of my goals inside my bucketlist.
So that's crossed out, I also got a freelance job, I didn't think I'd need that job as much since my novel has became a hot topic and has payed back every bill. But if I were to put my life easily into words, it ain't perfect but what I have can make me go forward.
Right now I'm at the airport for—no reasons, a company has asked me if they could make my novel into a movie and of course I said yes! I'm with Cass, my assistant and apprentice, don't ask!
We were scouting at the airport for ideas in my new inspired book. What I didn't know was someone, big, popular, a world shaker, would come to Korea.
"Are you sure we're here for book reasons and not to stalk?" Cass suddenly whispered to me, I was like a spy stalking someone
"No! Of course we're here for ideas!" I said brightly but she rolled her eyes at me
"Fine, I could call Director Jung right now to resign you as my assistant" I was about to take out my phone when she squeaked
"Eek! I'm sorry Miss Kim, please don't!" I let out a soft chuckle and went inside the airport
And damn it was packed, like packed, like it was a concert type of pack. All the squealing and screaming and jumping, all that. Which made me wonder who was coming back, who is that person that can make all these girls swarm inside an airport?!
"I think we should go to the other side, let's avoid the crowd" I said while holding Cass' wrist to make sure she won't get lost, again
Flashback.
"Cass! Where the hell are you?!"
I screamed my lungs out trying to find Cass in the crowd. We were in the mall with Emma trying to buy some appropriate clothes for a party and we lost Cass.
She's bad at directions! Like bad, bad. I tried reaching her phone for the last fifteen minutes but she hasn't answered a single one.
"Cass! Yell if you can hear me!" Emma yelled, there were a ton of people that stared at us
"This is hard to look for her in this crowd" but then an idea struck my mind
"Emma I know how we can find her" then I plastered a grin
"How?" I just smirked and shouted,
"INFIRES!!" Everyone, and I mean everyone looked at me, I smirked at Emma and showed her my fingers while counting down,
Three... Two... One...
"INFIRES MAN!!" There you have it,
"Let's go get her" I laughed and walked away towards Cass' voice
And I could tell that Emma face palmed herself with my way of things. I find it as the easiest way to find someone you've known for quite some time now.
End of flashback.
We did avoid the crowd but then camera crews, security, even police started to walk towards the crowd. I led us both to somewhere less crowded and stood there while breathing after all the pushing through the crowd.
"Who do you think is coming?" I looked at Emma with an unexplainable expression on her face
"How?! How do you not know about his arrival today? I thought that's why we're here?"
'Who? What? I still have no idea who she's probably talking about'
I just shrugged and she gave up, pace palming herself. She pushed me to a poster that was hanging somewhere near the entrance and damn was I shookt.
'Park Jimin?! He's back?!'
My eyes just widened, Cass even tried to grab my attention by waving her hand in front of me, I shook my head and looked at her. She just smirked and her eyebrows moved up and down with her grin.
"I think you know him more than I do, so don't tell me that you don't know him" I just shut myself up, not that I would respond to her anyways
'Why am I feeling... Sad, hurt, angry and happy at the same fucking time?!' I thought to myself while gripping the bottom hem of my shirt
Then screams became louder as hell, like my ears were about to burst. They all started yelling out his name,
"PARK JIMIN!!!"
"JIMINIEEE SARANGHAE!!!"
"JIMIN! WELCOME BACK!!!"
Everything, absolutely every word you could describe Jimin's beauty, attitude and music. Every word was used to describe him and I thought that it is fitting for him, not gonna lie.
I saw his hair, then his face. Then what you call 'feelings' started running through me, into my heart. I bit my lower lip as he was walking through the crowd, walking closer to us, I faced Cass and started pushing her, farther away from him.
"Hey, Ms. Euhna why are we going out?" Cass used her weight to stop me from pushing her any further
I looked back to see that Jimin was staring at us, at me. It made me flinch and grabbed Cass' wrist and dragged her away. I couldn't face him, I couldn't even look at him in the eyes for more than a second.
We reached the the exit door, Cass stopped and I paused. My head was lowered, I couldn't understand why I'm feeling this way knowing that I have moved on from. 'Us' whatever you could call it.
"Please explain it to me why we are running away from him?" I looked up and she was looking back at Jimin's way
"I can't face him. I just can't" I didn't face Cass anymore, I would avoid trying to look at anybody in the eyes when they would stare past me
"Please, even if it's just a little?" She pressed both her hands to each other in a praying position, pleading for me
"Fine but please, don't scream, 'cause I know you can easily lose control when it's something 'unbelievable' okay?" She nodded instantly
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
I breathed in and out, calming myself before opening my eyes again.
'I don't have any idea how to say this to you without you screaming the shit out of yourself'
[Cliffhanger-ish? I can't identify if it's a cliffhanger, not gonna lie. But I hope you're enjoying the character development from here on out!]
