" Kyler, wake up your gonna be late!" The old maid, also known as my mother yelled up to me. I moaned and writhed in my bed wishing that it was Saturday. I got out of bed before my mom could yell at me again or throw water at me. I put on my usual clothes, a white tank top with blue stripes, blank skinny jeans, and white and blue Nike sneakers. Then I went into the bathroom and combed my black hair so it swiped to the right. " Kyler!" She yelled at me again. " Hold on I'm coming!" I yelled back to her.

Geez, does she have to be so loud. I ran down the steps like I always do and almost tripped, like always. Of course my mom was there at the door with my backpack and an energy bar. " Thanks mom" I said as I grabbed the bar and my backpack.

I jumped down the concrete stairs to the car which always scared my mom ever since I was little and I cracked my head open on them. I had to get 5 stitches in the side of my head. " What do I always tell you about the stairs" she nagged to me as I got into the car.

"You tell me to jump down them but carefully" I say sounding sarcastic. She smirks as she gets into the car and starts it. As she is pulling out of the driveway I realize that I'm wearing a tank top and that I forgot my jacket. " Mom I forgot m-" I said but she cut me off. " Look in your bag" she says. I open my backpack and found my black leather jacket. I put it on and before I knew it we were at school. " Thanks mom" I said as I got out of the car. "Have a good day" she said as I shut the door. I quickly walked to the big group of kids outside the school waiting for the door to open.

" Kyler!" I heard somebody shout. Then I saw my friend Jacob run towards me. " Hey man what you been up to?" he asked me. " Not much" I tell him with a smile." Anything new happening?" I ask him as we walk towards the entrance. " I heard that we have a new student" he told me. " Really, do you know his name?" I say with a questioning look. " Uh, yeah, I think his name is Miles" he says as he opens his locker. " One minute"  a teacher tells us.

" Shit" I hear Jacob quietly say. Miles? That name sounds familiar. " Dude hurry up, stop daydreaming" Jacob tells me. I quickly grab my stuff and shut my locker. I quickly walked into my homeroom with Jacob, I'm so glad he's in my class.

He's actually is in all of my classes and I can't believe we haven't had our seats moved yet. We talk all the time. " Ugh, why does it have to be Monday?" Jacob groaned out. " Well my friend, that's just life" I told him and we both started laughing. " Quiet everyone" the teacher told us.

Then the announcements came on but, nobody really paid attention to them. " I wondered what class the new kids in" Jacob whispered to me.And just as he said that the principal walked in with a kid I've never seen before. " Sorry he's a little late, his mom had some paperwork to fill out" He told the teacher. " That's alright" She said. " Miles you can have a seat next to..." She said but paused.

Then she pointed near me. Oh please pick somewhere else. " Go have a seat near Kyler" she said with a smile. My heart immediately stopped and I couldnt breath as he walked over to me and sat his stuff down. I was afraid that my cheeks were red so I looked down. Wait, why would they be red. I'm not into men and expecially not him. And that when I realized that me, Kyler moss, was gay.
