Christmas day- Italy
Cory and Angela sat on the couch, holding each other into the early morning. They soon dozed off before they later were awaken by Sgt. Moore. He smiled at them both while handing them each a gift. They morning was spent eating and opening presents. By the afternoon, Cory knew everyone was up at home so he called them to tell them that he was brining Angela home. He anounced they won't be able to come back until after New Year's Eve.
The family and friends were happy he got to Angela, but saddened the couple wouldn't make it back in time. Their sadness was shortened when he told them to go ahead celebrate Christmas and New Year's because when they got back they had to celebrate he and Angela's engagement.
Cory laughed loud as he pulled the phone away hearing everyone scream and cheered through the speakerphone. Cory pulled Angela and Sgt. Moore to the phone so they could talk to everyone before saying goodbye then hanging up. Christmas dinner was spent at the base's annual Christmas party that night. It was a great day. But the next day Alvin had to go back and work through New Year's Day. But he did request time off to take them back to airport when ready.
Until then the two had lots of fun. A few days later, Cory and Angela got her dad's car, while he took the jeep to work. She and Cory traveled out of the base and traveled the country side as well drove into the city. They had dinner in the city and enjoy the scenery surrounding them. "Penny for your thoughts, Angel?" Cory asked, leaning his chin on his hand as he stared at her. Angela smiled as she inhaled deeply before taking his other hand and exhaling. "I'm just so happy. I am afraid that if I close my eyes or blink that I will open them back and this would be a dream." She admitted to him as she held onto his hand for dear life.
Cory just sat up straight and used the hand that supported his chin, to cover her hand. "You're not dreaming. In fact," He said as he released her touch as he pulled out his phone to dial a number. "Sgt. Moore- Sorry, Pop." Cory smiled sheepishly as he saw Angela giggle at the name. "Pop, I wanted to let you know that we wanted to see more sights and are going to be in town for a while. Another day. Okay. I will. Bye." Cory said before hanging up and looking at her. "All set, Angel." He told her softly. "All set for what?" Angela asked unsure of what was next. She just watched Cory give her soft, yet intense look before taking her hand.
"Keep your eyes closed." Cory demanded playfully as he led her off the elevator and to a door. "Cory, I need to see. I'm opening them." She stated as she was about to open her eyes , when he wrapped his arms around her from behind. "You trust me, Angel?" He asked with seriousness in his voice. Angela's voice got caught in her throat as she gave a nod and spoke. "Yes, Cory. I trust you so much." "Then let me take care of everything. Have faith in me." Cory said as he continued to stand there with his arms still around waist. He pulled her backside tightly into his front as he spoke against her earlobe.
Angela couldn't say anything as she felt him walked her ,still behind him, to the door and opened it. They stepped in together as he took a look around to see that everything was ready. "Open your eyes, Angel." He instructed her. Angela's mouth dropped at the sight before her . She grew quiet and Cory grew worried. "Angel, don't you like it?" He asked her from behind . Cory grew nervous about her silent demeanor as he stepped around her to see her face.
He looked to see her quietly crying as she took it all in. "Angela?" He spoke her name carefully, gaining her attention. She swallowed before speaking as the tears still fell. "Why did you do this? How did you do this, Cory?" Cory gave a small smirk as he led her to the middle of the room. "The 'how' was all Jack. He said it was an engagement gift. Just like your dad , hooked me up on the plane ride here. And both of those along with me standing here, tell the 'why'. Because I love you more than life itself." He simply said as he sat her on the edge of the bed. "Loving you is everything and all. And right now, Angel, I want everything. I want it all. I want you." He said as he took off his clothes, leaving his boxer-briefs on.
He took off her shoes before he stood her up. He eased off her coat and sweater before helping her working her jeans off leaving her to take his breath awaytake his breath away. "Damn." He muttered as he closed in on her and leaned in to kiss her. "You are so beautiful, Angel."He spoke against her lips. "Thank you. This was something I bought for us." Angela smirked. "Oh, really for us?" Cory looked interested as he raised his eyebrows. "So, do you plan out to buy us more like this?" He asked her as his brown eyes swept up and down her body. "Maybe, it depends on how you feel about taking it off." Angela said teasing him. Cory looked at her like a man who wasn't playing. Especially when he walked behind and unfastened her bra quickly. He eased her onto the bed then climbed on, hovering over her.
He took her body in as he saw her dark brown skin sparkle against the sheets as he watched her look at him longingly. He fingered the side of her panties before yanking them off. "I think you need to buy us more." He said as he tossed them aside. Angela nodded as she watched him work his way in between her legs as he was about to enter her.
Angela stopped him as she gave him a look. "What about foreplay?" She asked. "Our love is foreplay enough for right now. Now come the honeymoon. I'm wearing you out. Right now I want to be closer to you." He said as he eased ,then worked himself inside of her. "Ahh. Good point." Angela muttered in ecstasy. "Oh, Cory. I-I-I ..Oh, yes." Angela gripped him as they continued to make love .
"I love you, Cory." She told him between pumps. "I love you so much, Angela." Cory panted as he lifted legs some as they continued on. Hands intertwining as their breath matched pant for pant and breath for breath. Cory, could feel himself about climax as Angela kept moaning his name. While Angela she was about to explode the more Cory tried to meld his body with hers. They finally reached the top of the plateau as they both back down to earth and held each other tight.
They enjoyed the hotel and spent the day about town before getting ready go back to the base and kept busy until they rang in the new year.
Countdown to New Year's Day
Cory and Angela tried to keep Alvin up ,but in the end he couldn't stay awake and fell asleep. They had everyone on the speak phone at the Matthews' household as there was ten seconds to go before January first. "10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1! Happy New Year!" Everyone screamed on the speak phones together. "Happy New Year, Mom and Dad. Rachael and Jack and Morgan,Eric, and Joshua. Happy New Year Mr. and Mrs. Feeny!" Cory greeted into the phone . "Happy New Year, Cory!" Cory nudged Angel as she playfully nudged him back. "Happy New Year, everyone! I can't wait until we get home." She said to them.
"Angela, this is Alan." Alan said on the phone. "I just want to say congratulations. My son , couldn't have found a better woman to spend the rest of his life with. We all want to say ,welcome to the family!" He told her as the rest joined in. "Yeah, congrats, Cory and Angela!" Jack and Rachel smiled. "Yeah, welcome to the family!" Eric, Amy, and Morgan said into the speaker phone. "Yes, Mr. Matthews, we can not wait to see you and your fiancée. Again fine choice." Mr. Feeny smiled into the phone as he went to sit down.
"We love you too, talk you later!" Alan said as they completed their good byes before hanging up. Angela sighed as she glanced up at her boyfriend. "Cory?" "Yes, Angel?" He asked her as she sighed and slipped her arms around his waist. "I want to go home." She pleaded with him. "I thought you'd never ask." He flashed as winning a smile.
