"Matthews, she isn't here yet." Sgt. Moore told him. "What?" He asked, daring to hope that she was still in town. "She called to say she's in the UK for a layover and don't know when she's arriving. I didn't even know it was her, she called collect from a payphone in the airport." He told Cory before hearing the sound of defeat in the young man's voice. "Okay, Sir. Can you ask her to call me when she finally gets in? Or better yet, Sir, can you just call me to let me know she's there?" Cory pleaded.

"Will do, Matthews." Sgt. Moore stated. "And Cory?" He called to Cory in a rare, soft tone. "Yes, sir?" The young man replied. "Merry Christmas." Sgt. Moore said.  Cory sat down on his bed, hanging his head and shed a few tears. "Thank you, sir. You too, sir." He stated before they both hung up.

"Okay, Class, you have exactly two minutes left before the end of the final. I suggest you make sure that all your answers are the ones you want to be graded on plus you have your name and social up top." The professor said to the room. One student , in particular , smiled at the fact that everything was correct. Her name and social were up top on the paper with every problem completed. By the time the two minutes were up, she was one of the first up out of her seat and down to the teacher. The teacher had a smile on her face, noticing one of her favorite students hand in her work, first and completed. As usual. "Thank you, Miss Moore. I will miss having the pleasure of you being in my class, reminding me why I got into teaching to being with." The teacher stated.

"I will miss you and your class also. It was one of my favorite Writing and English classes. Have a good holiday." Angela told her professor before they hugged each other goodbye.  Angela and her professor part ways before she  walked out of the class for good. She stepped out into the crisp, cold air before looking around for someone familiar. She smiled when she saw the person she was looking for. "Hey, ready?" Angela smiled as she ran up to the car. "I am and I am so going to miss you. Will you come back?" The person asked as they hurried up to get into warm car.

"I dunno, Rachel. I haven't thought that far yet. I still have to make sure that I get rid of this burner phone with the England area code and number on it." Angela stated as Rachel drove out of the college campus. "Do you really think that Cory would call your dad?" Rachel asked her as they headed to the airport. "Yes, I do." Angela sighed as she looked out the window.

Once they got their they rushed Angela to her boarding lane and stood there as she waited to be next. "Well, you are about to board in a second. I'm going to miss you old roomie and best friend." Rachel sniffed. "Me too. Rach, can you do me a big favor?" Angela cried as she hugged her friend. "Anything, Name it." Rachel said without heistation. "Please take care of Cory for me. Watch over him for me. I don't trust that Topanga and I know he still wants to kill Shawn in a way." "Will do, Angela.Bye." Rachel said , getting one last hug. "Bye Rach." Angela stated before handing her ticket and getting her passport stamped. Rachel watched her walk down the hallway to the plane before turned to leave and cry.

Two days later

Cory was closing his room up and walking to his car amongst the many students leaving for the holiday. He was inside about to start the car up when his cell phone rang. "Hello?" He answered somberly. "Cory?" Sgt. Moore spoke. "Yes,sir?" Cory said sitting up ,knowing who it was. "She just arrived late last night. Sorry that I didn't call, but we were both tired from the drive from the airport. She's fine son." He told Cory, who gave a sad smile as he leaned his head back against the head rest. "Thank you, so much. Have a good holiday, sir." "The same to you and your family as well." Sgt. Moore said before disconnecting the line. Cory exhaled a deep breath as he started up the car and drove to his parents' home.
