Since last day na, we're finally free! And to celebrate, we're all crashing at Garnet.

As expected, it was packed when we arrived. Buti na lang talaga co-owner si Garrett dito kaya we can all access the VIP area.

I wore denim shorts kasi sa dorm room ko na nag-ayos yung tatlo kaya sila na pumili ng damit ko. I didn't object since mag-uuwian na kami. I paired it with a blue blouse. Mukha daw akong magpupunta sa beach pero hindi magsu-swimming. I told them na wala akong ibang damit. Buti na lang napigilan ko sila dahil mukhang hahalughugin pa nila closet nila para may maisuot ako.

Although, Uri insisted that she'll do my makeup so I agreed just to avoid further arguments, we're already running late too. At ginawa ngang canvas ni Uri yung mukha ko. Bumagay naman sa suot ko kaya okay na rin. Parang smoky eye s'ya pero hindi gaanong makapal. I also told her to go easy on the eyeliner because the last thing I wanna do is spend hours trying to remove it. Wala pa naman akong makeup remover. I removed my hair from being braided and let my hair down in cascading waves.

Puno ang parking area kaya sa medyo malayo pa kami nagpark. Sumabay na si Uri kay Raven habang kaming tatlo ay nagkanya kanya ng sasakyan.

Kasabay namin dumating sila Iclyn. Looks like they really anticipated this night. Kung hindi lang sa makeup ko ngayon, magmumukha nga ako kung ano yung sinabi ni Ellora.

"Text me if you're all too drunk, I'll drive you guys back," sabi ni Raven sa'min nang makarating na kami sa grupo namin at nagpaalam na.

Must be nice. I'm happy that Uri is in good hands. They really match and take care of each other. Minsan na rin kasing um-absent si Uri noong may sakit si Raven. Tapos laging namang dinadalan ni Raven si Uri ng pagkain kapag sobrang busy namin. Bonus pa dahil pati kami dinadalan n'ya.

"To BSAR 1! Woohoo!"

We raised our shot glasses. Nalukot mukha ko nang malasahan yung shot. I don't think I'll ever get used to this.

But whatever, I'll let my guard down a bit this time.

Hinila na nila ako sa dancefloor. Only the neon lights illuminated the dancefloor. EDM also blasted on the stereos mixed by a famous DJ. It's exceptionally more crowded tonight. May iilan pa akong muntik nang maapakan.

"Don't just stand there! Dance!"

Iginaya pa ni Ellora yung braso ko para sumayaw. I'm so embarrassed although I know they wouldn't care or judge naman.

"Di nga ako sumasayaw!" I shouted. The sounds are blaring.

"Body wave! Woooo!"

She waved her body habang tangay yung kamay ko, coaxing me to do the same, except I didn't. Lasing na ata 'tong babaeng 'to kahit na yung shot lang kanina yung ininom n'ya.

May dumaan na waiter kaya kumuha sila ng shots. Gumaya na lang rin ako.

"That's it, Aeo!" Uri cheered.

Bourbon. My brother's favorite drink. He'd reak of it sometimes. I grimaced again as it trickled down my throat. I don't understand how he'd chug this. Para akong uminom ng liquid goma.

After that shot parang tinablan ako ng kapal ng mukha. I started doing minimal moves. Then I totally lost myself.

Damn it, nakailang shot na ba ko?

The heat cascaded from my head to my body and I'm already a bit light-headed.

Ang init!

Nagtatawanan na rin sila kasama yung iba naming classmates na nasa dancefloor din. Nagsho-showdown na rin sila Orwell doon sa gitna kasama sila Rhett.
