(Narrator's POV)
From the top of the cliff, Professor Ozpin and Glynda Goodwitch provided an update on the students' current situation
"Our last pair has been formed, sir" Glynda says to him "Resare Chikara and Night Sustrai. There seems to be a lot of tension between the two of them. I seriously doubt their ability to be able to work together." She explains first. "Then, Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy. I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Ms.Nikos" She explains to him. "I don't care what his transcripts say, that Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat. I guess we'll find out soon enough." She explains. "At their current place, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes. Speacking of which, what did you use as relics this year ?" She asks him, without having an answer.
(Night's POV)
"Where the fuck do we go?" Growls Resare, who is really tired of going in circles.
"For the one hundred and fiftieth time, you have to go north." I growled.
"And how do you know where North is?!" she yells at me
"It's simple: The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. You look in which direction the sun is, and you'll know where North is." I replied curtly.
"You know you're not as dumb as you look?" She answered me by looking up at the sky.
"It's better than looking less dumb than you are." I replied.
"Ok, It's that way." She said, pointing me in the direction. "Let's make it quick, so we can get rid of it." She says to me before starting to walk again.
"Ok" I said to her before running to her, catching her on the fly and using my Semblance to turn us into smoke to go faster.
(Dragon's POV)
"Are you sure it's this way?" Krystal asks me, worried.
"Not sure." I replied. "I hope Night doesn't end up with Resare" I sighed.
"Why ?" Krystal asks me
"She doesn't like humans. It would be a mess if she was teammates with Night..." I sighed.
"Poor Night ..." she pities him.
(5 minutes later)
After walking for about 5 minutes, we finally find the temple: It was a ruin with chess pieces in the middle.
"Is that it?" I asked. Krystal approached the temple without answering me.
"Hey, Dragon!" A voice calls to me. Looking up, I see Yang with this black-haired girl.
"Hey Yang!" I greeted her. She and her friend went downstairs and took a look at the temple
"Chess pieces?" Wonders the dark haired girl
"Some of them are missing. Looks like we weren' the first ones here" Yang replied
"Well... I guess we should pick one." Her teammate concludes.
(1 minute later, Narrator's POV)
"How about a cute little pony?" Yang proposes to her friend by taking the piece from the white knight.
"Sure" She replied, totally interested (or not). For his part, Dragon grabs a black tower. Suddenly the group heard a shrill, very shrill howl.
"Some girl's in trouble!" Yang exclaims. "Blake, did you hear that? What should we do?" She asks her teammate, worried.
