I sat down with Lily and Hestia in the Great Hall and was about to start eating dinner when someone to my right said, "McKinnon!"

I swiveled around in my seat and said, "Huh?"

"If you were a library book, I would check you out." said a grinning Sirius Black.

James chuckled and smiled. Lily scowled at him and his smile widened.

"Too bad, Black, the library's full of books, and I'm not one of them." I said, putting a forkful of carrots in my mouth.

"Well, Marley, you're in my library." Black smirked. I blushed and stuffed steak into my mouth.

"He likes you, Mar." Lily whispered.

"Yeah, I think that's obvious." I whispered back. We lapsed into quiet giggles.

Dinner was fun, with the Marauders, you are never, ever bored.
