I watched Marley chat with Lily, from my seat in Transfiguration. Occasionally, they would glance at James.

He really matured this year. He's actually working and studying. Being Head Boy, he kinda has to. But I think Lily likes him.

Hmm... I should consult Marley about this. Maybe we could set them up.

Lily walked out of Transfiguration with a frown.

I stopped her and she turned. She looked crestfallen.

"Hey, Lilyflower, don't frown, you never know who could've fallen in love with your smile." I said gently.

She perked up then frowned again.

"I hope you're not saying that you're in love with me." she said.

I let out such a loud laugh that people around us jumped in fright.

"No, but a certain Marauder has his eyes on you." I winked, walking away, leaving a bewildered Lilyflower behind me.

Merlin, is it that hard? I sat next to her at dinner and heard her whisper to Remus, "You aren't in love with me, right?"

I was shaking so violently from silent laughter that McGonagall came over and asked me if I was alright.

Women say the men are clueless, but, really, it's the women.
