It was the first day of Christmas break, and while packing, I forced Lily to admit she liked James.

But, then, the sneaky thief, tricked me into saying I liked Sirius.

I sighed. I did.

Just when I was about to go down to the Great Hall, a person stopped me.

"Hey, Marley," I giggled, "Can I follow you home? James's parents said I should follow my dreams."

That one wasn't good. I felt bad, though. It wasn't good because he couldn't say his parent's told him to follow his dreams. But I had a response ready.

I reached up and kissed him.

I pulled back and breathed, "You can. I'll talk to my parents."

He smiled, a true smile since the day he was kicked out of his parent's home, and kissed me again.

We walked to the Great Hall hand in hand, while everybody gave us looks that plainly said, 'About time'.

I had one more ready, though.

"Siri?" I said, leaning on his shoulder.

"Hmm?"

"Because of you, I laugh a little harder, cry a little less, and smile a lot more." I stated.

He smiled softly and squeezed my hand.

"Me too, Marley, me too."
