"So why am I here with you again?" Lola asked with a bored expression as they walked into the apartment building.
"To help me persuade the kid to join our team."
"Your team. I told you I'm not on any team. I agree with both sides but I also disagree and I'm not contributing to a larger riff in the team. Plus I want to be able to meet my dad, officially."
"Nat said you told her you sided with us?"
"Yeah but now I know more details and my father is involved."
"Yeah well we still need the kid. The story I'm going to go with is that he won the Stark Internship and you're a current intern that will help answer his questions and describe what he would be doing."
"Sounds simple enough." Lola said.
Tony knocked on the door and was greeted with a woman. He quickly explained what they were there for and were allowed in to wait.
"Hi Ms. Parker. I'm Lola Watson, a current intern for Mr. Stark. I'm here to answer any questions your nephew may have." Lola said with a smile as she shook Ms. Parker's hand.
"Oh please, call me May. Walnut date loaf?" She asked as she grabbed the plate she had just made.
The sound of a door opening filled the room.
"Hey May, I'm home."
"How was school?"
"Good. There's this crazy car parked outside."

Peter did a double take when he saw the one and only Tony Stark sitting in his living room.
"Ah Mr. Parker. Glad to finally be able to meet you." Tony said giving Peter a wink to go along with it.
"Uh, hi Mr. Stark. What are you...what are you doing here?"
"Remember the grant you applied for?"
"The grant?"
"The September Foundation grant."
"Yeah."
"Well I'm here to tell you you've been accepted."
"That's great. So is there like money involved?"
"Of course, look who's funding it. May, do you mind if Lola and I have a quick word with Mr. Parker in his room?"
"Sure." May said.
The three walked to Peter's room, Lola standing in the corner of the room with her arms crossed as Peter shut the door.
"I'm sorry Mr. Stark but I didn't apply for a-"
"Uh uh, let me talk first. Quick question of the rhetorical variety. Is this you?" Tony said as he played a video on his phone.
"Um..." Peter said.
"I mean that bus was going pretty fast, not an easy catch. How'd you do it? You have a suit?" Tony said as he poked around Peter's room until he found the suit. Peter grabbed it and threw it in the closet.
Tony grabbed it and examined it, holding the goggles up. "Lordy, how do you see in these things? And how do you stick to the walls? You got some type of grip in the suit? And this webbing, the tensile strength is off the charts." Tony said as he threw a web vial at Peter, who easily caught it.
"I made it myself." Peter said as he threw it in his closet.
"I gotta ask kid, what's you mo, your motivation to get out of that twin bed in the morning?"
"Because...well, I've been me my whole life. I've had these powers for six months now."
"Mmhhm." Tony said, nodding for Peter to continue.
"I read books, I build computers... and--and yeah. I would love to play football. But I couldn't then so I shouldn't now."
"Sure, because you're different."
"Exactly. But I can't tell anybody that, so I'm not. When you can do the things that I can, but you don't... and then the bad things happen... they happen because of you."
"So you wanna look out for the little guy? You wanna do your part? Make the world a better place, all that, right?"
"Yeah. Yeah just looking out... for the little guy. That's--that's what it is."
Tony sat next to Peter and patted him on the back.
"You got a passport?"
"I don't even have my driver's license."
"Well pack a bag, you're coming to Germany with us."
"I can't go to Germany... I have homework."
"I'm going to pretend you didn't say that. Well I guess I could let your hot aunt know and-"
Peter shot Tony's hand to the doorknob.
"Don't tell aunt May."
"Alright Spider-Man." Tony paused looking at Peter. "Can you get this off?"
"Right sorry." Peter said.
"Ms. Watson will meet you in the living room to take you down to the car. I'll call you to fill you in later."
