"Hey Lola!" Ned called out as him and Peter walked down the hall.
"Yeah?" She asked as she out her stuff in her locker.
"We're building the Lego Death Star at Peter's tonight, did you want to come?"
"Oh, uh I'll have to check with my...uncle." Lola said awkwardly as she mentally cringed at herself. She was trained in this and if she was still at Hydra, she would've been punished for that.
"Oh okay. Here's our numbers. Call or text us if you can make it." Ned said.
Lola walked outside and stood under a tree as she called Tony.
"It's your first day and you're already calling me. Did you get in trouble?"
"No. I, um, got invited to Peter's house to build a lego thing with them."
"Ah, I see. Yeah you can go, just no cuddling, kissing, making out, or s-"
"Alright I get it. Thank you Tony. It's at 6." Lola interrupted.
Later that night, Lola arrived at Peter's apartment and knocked on the door. May opened it and welcomed her in.
"It's nice to see you again Lola. How's the internship?"
"It's good. Peter and Ned invited me over."
"They're in his room. It's right down the hall."
"Thanks May."
Lola walked into Peter's room, only to find Ned sitting in the bed.
"Where's Peter?"
"Probably stuck at the internship." Ned replied.
"Yeah." Lola said as she realized Peter was probably out as Spider-Man.
Her question was soon answered when the window opened and Peter came in, crawling on the ceiling. He closed the door and dropped down. He turned around to see a shocked Ned and an unimpressed Lola rolling her eyes. Ned suddenly dropped the Death Star, causing Lola to jump back.
"What was that?" May called out.
"It was, uh, nothing!" Peter answered.
"Oh my god, you're the Spider-Man."
"No...no I'm not Ned." Peter said as he hit the emblem on his suit, causing it to fall off. Lola looked away awkwardly, taking a few peeks at Peter shirtless.
"You were on the ceiling."
"It was-"
May interrupted by coming in.
"Well I burned that meatloaf. Let's get Thai. Ned, Lola, do you guys want Thai?"
"No, they were just leaving." Peter answered.
"Alright. Maybe put on a shirt." May said as she walked out and closed the door.
"She doesn't know?"
"No she doesn't Ned. She would freak and when she freaks, I freak. She can't know."
"Does Lola know?"
Peter and Lola looked at each other trying to figure out how to answer.
"She does."
"How'd she find out? Was it through the internship? Wait, how do you do both the internship and this?"
"This is the internship." Peter said.
"Wait, so how does Lola know?"
"That's a question for another day and time." Lola replied.
"So do you, like, lay eggs?" Ned asked.
"Actually, I'm curious to know that answer." Lola added.
"Goodbye." Peter said as he closed the door.
The next day at school as the three were in gym, Lola sat on the bleachers by herself.
"Hey, is this seat taken?" A girl asked.
"No." Lola replied.
"I'm Raven."
"Lola."
"So what are you doing Lola?"
"I'm looking up something called TikTok. I think that's what it's called."
"You don't know what TikTok is?"
"No, I was very sheltered most of my life so I don't know a lot of popular things."
"Wow that sucks."
"Tell me about it. I'm living with my uncle now and he's...wild so he allowed me to come here."
"Well, I have so much to teach you Lola. Have you seen Mean Girls?"
"No." The girl responded.
"Oh honey, we got a lot to cover."
Lola was snapped out of her conversation when she heard Ned yell something.
"Peter knows Spider-Man."
Lola mentally slapped herself. What was with these guys and not knowing how to keep a secret?
"I mean I met him once through the internship but I'm not supposed to talk about it." Peter replied, sending a glare to Ned.
Lola watched as the girl she now knew as Liz, Peter's crush, invite them to her party.
