2 Months Later

Lola sat in the kitchen eating breakfast by herself, which wasn't unusual after everything that happened. The base had been quiet ever since Steve and Tony fought, which resulted in Steve, Sam and Natasha on the run. The quietness was interrupted when Tony walked in.

"Hello Lola. How are you?"

"Just peachy." The girl answered with a mumble.

"Well I have great news, I've enrolled you in high school."

"What?" The girl asked as she dropped her fork.

"Yeah. Midtown High. You start today. You have an hour to get ready before I drive you."

Lola groaned as she ran to the stairs.

"Oh and by the way, the Parker kid goes there as well."

Lola let out another groan. When she got to her room, she shut the door and banged her head against the door.

"Why me?" She asked herself.

An hour later, Tony was driving her to school.

"You excited?"

"Tony, I've never been to school before. I don't know how this works." Lola said.

"It's a good thing I got you supplies then. And you better be glad I know your style and what you're into and not into."

"Tony, I don't understand why you're doing this. Do you want me to spy on the Parker kid or something?"

"No. I think it's time you be a real teenager Lola. And I put you in Midtown with Peter so you could have a friend."

"He's not my friend." Lola grumbled.

"Anyhow, you'll be with someone you know. I checked and you're in 3 of his classes."

"Tony." The girl groaned.

"Hey, you'll thank me later. High school can be messy so knowing someone and having friends really helps."

"Fine." The girl said reluctantly.

They pulled up to the school and Lola got out.

"Oh and you're going by Lola Watson."

"Alright. Bye Tony."

"Bye kiddo."

Lola walked into the school and was greeted with a crowded hallway. She took a deep breath.

"Alright Lola, you can do this. It's high school, how hard can it be? You've faced worse." Lola said to herself.

As she walked down the hallway looking for her locker, she saw a familiar brown headed boy at his locker. She walked over to him.

"Surprise." She sang out.

"What are... what are you doing here?" Peter asked in a hushed voice.

"Tony apparently thought it would be a good idea for me to be a "normal teenager" whatever that means."

"Oh, okay."

"What, did the little spider think I was sent to spy?"

"What- no."

"Relax. Tony put me in this school because he thought we could be friends."

"He did?"

"Yeah. If anyone asks though, we know each other through the internship."

"Okay." Peter nodded.

"Oh and we have three classes together. Bye Peter." Lola said as she walked off.

Later, Peter and Ned were sitting together at lunch when Lola plopped down in front of them.

"Hello Peter Parker."

"Hey Lola. This is Ned."

"Hi. How do you two know each other?"

"Stark Internship." Lol replied as she put food in her mouth.

Peter got distracted as Liz Allen walked by.

"Did Liz get a new top?" Peter asked.

"Who's Liz and why are you staring?" Lola asked as she turned around.

"No Lola, don't make it obvious. Peter has a crush on Liz."

"What's a crush?"

"You've never had a crush?" Ned asked.

"No, it's a sign of weakness." Lola said.

"What?" Ned asked.

"Don't worry about her Ned. We should probably stop staring at Liz before it gets weird." Peter replied.

"Too late." A voice down the table called. "You guys are losers." She said as she returned to her book.

"I like her." Lola replied, pointing her fork as the girl.
