The next day, Lola and the team arrived at the competition with no Peter.

"He'll come." Ned said.

"He's not picking up." Lola said.

"He's Peter, he's got this."

After the competition, the team celebrated by going to the Washington Monument.

"Michelle, you saved us by answering that last question." Lola said as they walked.

"Thanks Lola. You know, you're a weird girl. What are you hiding Lola?"

"What?" Lola chuckled.

"I'm messing with you." Michelle smiled.

The two laughed.

They reached the monument and got ready to go in.

"Michelle you coming?" Mr. Harrington called out.

"No thanks. I don't really want to go in something that was built by slaves."

"Alrighty then."

As they walked inside, Ned got a call from Peter but the call was hung up when his bags went through the metal detectors.

As they rode up the elevator, Lola noticed Ned's backpack glowing.

"Uh Ned."

"Yeah?"

"Your backpack is glowing."

Ned didn't have time to respond as an energy blast shot out, causing the elevator to stop.

"Is everyone okay?" Mr. Harrington asked.

Everyone chorused back 'yeah'.

Suddenly, the elevator began to fall as everyone screamed, until it came to a halt.

They began falling again as Spider-Man fell in the elevator. He shot a few webs as he pulled them up.

"Everyone okay?" Peter asked putting on a New York accent, earning a chuckle from Lola. As they reached the floor, everyone began climbing out.

"Liz, go first." Lola said as they were the only ones still in the elevator.

"I'm scared."

"It's fine Liz, they got you."

Liz got out but before Lola could get out, the elevator fell.

"Lola!" Ned, Liz and Raven screamed.

Peter shot a web at her wrist and pulled her up.

Ned, Raven and Liz hugged her.

"I can't believe you almost sacrificed yourself to save me." Liz said.

"It's fine, I'm fine." Lola said.

Later that night, Peter found Lola and hugged her.

"Thank god you're okay." Peter said.

"I'm fine Peter. I've been through worse."

"I know but still. That was a brave thing you did for Liz."

"Yeah well I think I've been spending too much time around heroes." The two laughed.

"Did you stop them? Lola asked.

"No. I got trapped in the damage control warehouse."

"That sounds like fun."

"If by fun you mean boring. I did figure out my suit though."

"That's good."

The two teens heard a honk. Lola looked over to see Happy waiting in the car.

"Well I better go." Lola said.

"Bye. I'll see you Monday."
