Chapter 9: FTLOH (for the love of houston)

Everything was going good and it was summer , two reasons I'm happy is I got to go to Houston. Most people dont understand why but I love Houston. I want to flashback to Houston part one. Mom had got a lil paying gig to deliver newspapers. We would drive all over the 3rd area going to the various businesses who had the subscriptions it was a chance for me to see the city I fell in love with and get away from the Bonita house.

Well let's get back on track its summer again and it's just me and djonte and we visited grandma. My grandma has issues with my mother and something in moms life as a child they disconnected growing up all they would do us argue . Out of me nici and djonte grandma loved me the most. Maybe because I was the baby (I'm the last kid in my generation there for I'm the baby of the family)  i don't know why but grandma would always look out for me grandma was mean but she did it because she cared. That whole summer I went to a camp in town wood since I was one year over the age limit grandma grandma gave me permission to lie since she worked at night and she wanted to be alone during the day. That camp was really cool specially since I was able to play basketball every day. I think one defining moment in my life was when we went against other parks in a track meet and every event I ran in I got first. That summer my love for basketball grew and everyday I would practice literally basketball ran my life. When I get deeply in love with something im fully engaged .

I convinced grandma to let me move in with her but mom wouldn't allow it. When I headed back home once the summer ended never knew I was in for a rude awakening............
