I forgot to mention that I was talked into playing football. I regret not playing my first 2 Years of high school because it was so much fun actually competing. Well let's start from the beginning. I started off on jv and since I was the best reciever on the team I started. I was a junior and most juniors where in varsity. One day coach angel sat me down and told me these exact words "Now Dre i know you were looking forward to play varsity but this is your first year playing so how about we start you off on jv until you get the feel of it". I totatlly understood and I wasnt to mad to be playing jv, on the bright side I was a starter and I got to play the whole game. Fast forward to the first scrimmage and after all the hard work I did with my best friend gee (another gee different from Tyler) it was a scrimmage against center. It was the last 20 seconds of the game and my route was a fly. Down......Set.....Hut I ran as fast as my legs could carry me I see the ball thrown in my direction and I prayed to god I caught it. As I look back the sun was high in the sky and the ball disappeared into the beams. At the last second the ball reappeared and I caught it. EGGGHHHHH.... As the clock went down to 0:00. I sat up and my mind went blank as my teammates ran over to pick me up and shake my hand I pounded the grown with my fists and beat my chest.

That moment in my life I felt I did something great. All my hard work had finally paid off. I felt complete .

This journey continued as every week progressed so did my skills. Every game I would score a touchdown. I think my best game was against Waco La Vega. It was the first game of the season and I had caught a touchdown over a guy. I also had a 2 point conversion. I promise I can't make this up

My friend gee was there to watch it all ( gee was the starting qb for varsity, my best friend and my work out partner over the summer) Gee told me right after my touchdown "good job boy remember you suppose to be on varsity with us ,keep grinding and you gone be up there soon". I felt like a man that day.

My continued success was getting noticed by the coaches and eventually I was moved up to varisty, but my career ended shortly after it started. I had got injured one day in practice helping the corners do there drills (I only played wr so I was free when it was defense). I went to the hospital by the grace of god I only had a knee infusion.

After football season had ended mom and mike (moms bf) had broken up well he was cheating on her the whole time. That made matters really bad at home........
