⚠Warning⚠: Swearing
Walking back home from school seemed to take longer than usual. (Y/N) had too much on her mind. She needed time to think. So, she went to the park. Her mother's boyfriend and herself didn't quite come home from the bar until 5:30-ish. It's was 3:01 right now. I could make a quick stop, without them realising I'm gone?
She made a quick turn to the right and started walking, the park barely in sight. Once she had stepped foot on the grass, she started walking to a tree where she always would sit under to let her worries fade away.
But those plans were quickly changed by someone already sitting there. And (Y/N) wasn't even mad about it. The person under the tree was someone (Y/N) knew, not for long but, she was familiar enough with her to actually have a conversation. It was (F/N).
Once her (F/E/C) eyes landed on (Y/N)'s figure, she cracked a wide smile. Bright enough to light a whole room. (F/N) quickly got up and rushed over to (Y/N), giving her a bone crushing hug. The (H/C) haired girl didn't move. She just stood there, not knowing how to react. Until, (F/N) noticed her friend's discomfort and finally let go, giving her a crooked smile.
"I didn't expect to see you here!" (Y/N) gave a fake smile saying this.
"Yeah well, I come here to think from time to time if something is bothering me."
(Y/N) frowned at her friend's statement. She couldn't help but feel that she had caused this. "What's bothering you?"
(F/N) sighed, "My biology exam is coming up and I feel like I'm gonna fail. I can't fail this. My mom will be pissed."
"That's it?" (F/N) looked down and gave a slight nod.
"I know, stupid right? I'm here worrying my head off because of a test."
(Y/N) gently touched her friend's arm. This already being awkward since, (Y/N) didn't enjoy physical contact. She took a big step and gave (F/N) a small hug, not meant to be reciprocated. But, before (Y/N) could take a step back, (F/N) took a step forward and continued the hug.
Finally, after (F/N) had enough of the affection she longed for, they parted.
"I never asked you why you're here?" (F/N) looked up and made contact with (Y/N)'s eyes.
"Oh. Well it's nothing." (Y/N) looked down and started fiddlong with her fingers.
"It doesn't seem like nothing. You can trust me." (Y/N) looked up to see (F/N) giving a friendly smile, as if to convince her.
"Well okay. You know that boy I saw in the music room? Playing piano?" That's was when (Y/N) realised she would have to butcher up what happened between class, as to not worry (F/N).
"Yeah, what about him? He's cute isn't he?"
Without thinking (Y/N) responded, "Yeah he is." She hadn't realised she said this out loud until (F/N) started squealing. "I said that out loud, didn't I?"
(F/N) nodded furiously, a big smile on her face. "I totally ship it!" (Y/N) hadn't quite taken (F/N) as the type to ship people. But, (F/N) suddenly frowned. "That's not what's bothering you, is it?"
(Y/N) looked down and shook her head, "No, it isn't."
"Well then, what is it?" Oh shit, now you're gonna have to think something up real quick.
"It was nothing really, just a small cut. I accidentally scraped my leg and started bleeding. And when I see blood I freak out. He helped clean it up." Ok, that was pretty good, "I just wonder why he cares so much? We've never talked before except that day. Not even when we were in the same class."
"Well maybe he's just kind." (F/N) smirked, "Or, he likes you."
"Oh, I doubt it." Nobody could ever like me like that. Especially that boy I mean have you seen yourself? Not now!
(Y/N) fades back into reality to see (F/N) waving her hand in front of her face, trying to get her attention.
"Huh? Oh sorry, you were saying?"
"Maybe he does actually like you? As a friend? Classmate?"
"Yeah, maybe." (Y/N) looks down and checked the time, 4:07. "Hey listen, I need to get home. We just spent an hour talking."
"I guess time flies when you're having fun!"
(Y/N) laughed and turned to start walking home. Once again, thinking about Ryan and what (F/N) said.
Hey! Long time no update! I haven't updated this in so long because I didn't have any ideas and then I started to feel bad, and then I watched a movie and this dude said that he finds it best to reread his own story to find ideas so I did.
I feel like I've said too much.
Anyhoo, I love you all, stay safe! ❤❤
