'Holy shit.'

Sidney and Rose sit on one of the benches in the garden. Rose is gawking at Sidney, having heard the most absurd story. The only thing confusing her was that Sidney left out the names of everyone, except Chase. She wants to know who these people are, that was always how she felt about half-told stories.

Sidney merely nods at her, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. Rose notices the muscle in his bicep and appreciates it. It's not the biggest she's ever seen, but she preferred that.

'I know, right?' Sidney snorts, 'That's exactly what I said when Chase first told us,' he looks off into the distance, as if remembering something, 'then again, when I said it, I got the shit beat outta me. Or, at least, he tried.' Sidney chuckles to himself, reminiscing on the first day he met Chase. He was black cat, Sidney was golden retriever. They have always been that way.

Rose laughs slightly, the two of them smiling at each other. 'So, what about you then?'

Sidney raises his eyebrow, 'What about me?' He shrugs. Rose rolls her eyes and turns to face him better on the bench. 'Well, yeah. What's your story? I don't want to pry or anything, I just want to get to know you a bit better.'

Sidney lets out a long held sigh, 'My story?' He chuckles again, 'Look, my story is not to be told without alcohol.'

They both laugh together. Sidney looks at her and wiggles his eyebrows playfully. 'Just saying. Don't wanna force you into drinking if that's not your scene, but my story is a good one.' He smirks, more to himself than Rose.

'So, shall we go get some alcohol? You can choose the place, I wouldn't know where.' Rose smiles.

Sidney nods, 'Oh, don't worry. I know the perfect spot to open up all about my little sob story.'

'I'd love that,' Rose giggles.

Sidney stands up, offering her his hand, which she takes. They walk out of the garden together.
