The music is thumping aggressively through the speakers as multiple couples, dressed in Halloween costumes, are either grinding upon one another on the dance floor or in a heated moment some place private whilst under-age drinking. In the corner of the kitchen, stand a group of guys, high as kites.
Laughter oozes out of all corners of the rooms as a group of males and females play Spin the Bottle. Rose, Oliver and Blake are amongst the group. Rose is wearing a vampire costume and Blake is dressed like Danny Zuko from Grease with his hair slicked back. Oliver is just wearing a shirt, bowtie, belted trousers and a suit jacket - all black.
A Senior, who is beautiful in many ways and dressed like a Pink Lady from Grease, who's also the Captain of the cheerleading squad, spins the bottle. The bottle slowly stops spinning and points to Blake. His face lights up as the girl sends him a flirty smirk and indicates with her finger for him to move closer to her. He does. The two meet up in the middle of the circle of people, all eyes on them as they timidly lean closer to one another. Their lips touch gently.
Blake moves his hands up to pull gently on the girl's hair. It then turns into a hot make-out session which lasts for a minute. They both pull away, the girl's cheeks tint pink as Blake giggles like a little girl. He sits down quietly and the game begins again.
Now it was Tom's turn. Tom is dressed as a fireman, which shows off his muscles and toned body, which made many of the girls swoon. He spins the bottle and it goes around everyone once before slowing down and landing on Rose. Rose stares at the bottle, then Tom, then finally at Oliver. Tom chuckles and moves closer to Rose, puckering his lips in a humorous way.
Rose moves closer and the same thing happens as it had with Blake. Behind Rose and Tom, a rather jealous looking Oliver sits, knuckles clenched and his feet tapping on the floor. Rose pulls away and moves a strand of hair away from her face. She looks back at Oliver and can see his jealousy instantly.
Tom chuckles, 'Ahh, lighten up man! It's a party!'.
Oliver sends a glare Tom's way, then he feels Rose's hand on his and relaxes. 'Yeah, you're right.' Oliver looks at the clock hanging on the wall in front of him.
10:30pm.
Oliver, addressing the group, takes Rose's hand and stands up. She follows. 'I think it's time we go, guys,' Rose tries to interject, confused, but Oliver turns her to face him, a serious look in his eyes.
'We need to leave. Now.'
