Chapter 9

Akarui's P.O.V

"Hello Akarui. Good morning." Hikaru said to me. I looked up and sweatdropped, his hair was pink.

"Um... Hikaru why is your hair pink?" I asked him.

"Oh i dyed it so i wouldn't be mistaken for Kaoru." He answered. "Doesn't pink look great on me?" He asked getting closer to my face.

"Honestly i think it looks ridicylous and so is the fight you are having with Kaoru, he's your twin i know this wont last long so have fun with that pink hair of yours." I stated then turned to look at the front of the class, mainly so Hikaru couldn't see me blushing. I looked to my right and saw my sister with knowing smirk on her face, i ignored her.

"Good morning Haruhi." Kaorus said walking in with... blue hair.

"So, Kaoru's the blue twin?" Haruhi stated more thab questioned.

Kaoru went to go sit down in his chair next to Haruhi. "I was finally able to sleep all by myself last night. But I ended up having a nightmare. I dreamt that my stylist had dyed my hair pink. It was so garish and ridiculous looking I woke up screaming." He said. Right when he was about to sit down Hikaru stuck out his leg and kicked his chair causing Kaoru to fall on his butt. Kaoru pulled his twin's chair causing him to fall on his butt. Then everything went down hill and they started throwing things at each other, somehow Honey got thrown in there. I rolled my eyes and got up to go to lunch.

"I'll have the A lunch. No, give me the B pasta and the D salad! I'll take the F capellini with the barbarie duck! Hold on, make it a foie gras in perigueux sauce! Stop copying me!" The twins argued in unison. Wow even while arguing they still manage to speak at the same time.

"Amazing. Perfect unison even when fighting." Haruhi said while sweatdropping.

Something was off i could feel it, the fight didn't  seem.... real i guess. Hmmmmm.... I was almost to a conclusion when Tamaki came in and disturbed my thinking,  damn you Tamaki.

"I was wondering what all the fuss was about. I can't believe the two of you are still fighting. You're a disgrace to the host club." Tamaki stated as he walked into the cafeteria.

I heard girls whispering in the background about the hosts and such. I saw Honey go up to the twins with a cake and knew this wasn't gonna end well. 

"We've had enough of this. You're both to blame for this fight. Hika-chan and Kao-chan, I want you to make up and go halfsies on this cake, 'kay?" He smiled and held up the cake. "But I want to have a piece too. So I guess we're going to have to go thirdsies. We're not going to be able to split the strawberry on top, though." Oh dear this was going nowhere. "What should we do? Maybe I should just take it.

After all, strawberry is all my favorite. Oh, I forgot to ask. Hika-chan, Kao-chan, do you like strawberries?" He started mumbling about the strawberry when Takashi interrupted.

"You're just making it worse.

Leave them alone." He said then pulled Honey away.

"Oh, Haruhi! How do I expect to run into you in the dining hall?" Tamaki said. What am i? Chopped liver. Wait a sec... i feel half empty for some reason...

"Where's Aki?" I asked the hosts. They all shrugged. I looked around the cafeteria for her then walked back to the classroom and couldn't find her. I was starting to feel really cold, i needed to find her fast. You see whenever Aki and I are separated for more than an hour our bodies start feeling really cold and our souls feel empty and we collapse and shiver uncontrollably until we are back together. It's weird i know but it's just a twin thing. I search around wildly and i end up back in the cafeteria where i find the hosts again but I'm already shivering.

They look at me concern in their eyes. "Akarui are you okay?" Haruhi asked. I shook my head and at that moment i collapsed the last word that escaped my lips was, "Aki..." Then my world went black.

I woke up and saw white everywhere. I felt something warm on my side, i looked over and saw my twin still sleeping. I sighed in relief and looked around the room and i gasped in surprise when i saw Hikaru golding my hand. I looked over to Aki to see Tamaki holding hers. Aw cute! I looked back at Hikaru and started playing with his hair. He started to stir and he looked uo at me with tired eyes.

"Akarui, you're awake." His eyes widened as he hugged me. It took me a moment to hig him back. "Why'd you just collapse and your body was so cold." He said his eyes wide. I never noticed how beautiful his eyes were and couldn't stop staring at the amber orbs. Wait he just asked me something.... oh yeah why i collapsed. I told him the thing about me and my sistee and the separation and blah blah blah. He nodded and said he understood. Apparently when Hikaru and Kaoru we younger the same thing would happen to them.

I looked at hikaru and noticed something. "Your hair isn't pink anymore... How long were we out?" I asked.

Hikaru looked down a little. "About a week... We didn't know what was wrong so Haruhi and i brought you to the hospital while the others looked for Aki. They didn't find her for quite a while, she was passed out in the maze garden. How or why she was there, we have no idea. We got her here too but the doctors wouldn't put her in the same room with you for a few days to make she was 'stable'. Anyway, they finally let her in here yesterday and ya..." He said while rubbing the back of his neck. I was about to respond when the rest of the host club came in.

"Akar-chan! You're awake!" Honey said while jumping onto the bed and hugging me. I hugged him back and put him back on the ground.

"Hey how are you feeling?" Haruhi asked.

"I'm fine, did the doctor say when i could leave?" I asked them.

"He said you could leave when your sister wakes up." Hikaru said.

I looked at her soundly sleeping with Tamaki holding her hand and smiled slightly.

"She's out like a light, it'll take a while for her to wake up. Why don't you tell me what we missed this week?" I asked and smiled a little, i was trusting them more to let down my walls and show more emotion. They smiled back and began telling me what happened. First of all the fight between the twins was just a hoax to get Haruhi, Aki, and me to bring them to our house and cuz they were bored. Then some kid came to host club to learn how to please women so he could make a girl he likes happy. That was pretty much all that happened and apparently Hikaru would come to the hospital right after school to see me. It made me very happy.

I felt movement on my side and looked to see that Aki was waking up. "Aki the host club is here." I told her and she nodded opening her eyes. She looked startled when she saw Tamaki but calmed down and whispered in his ear for him to wake up.

"Oh my lovely daughters are awake!" Tamaki said. Wow he surely wakes up in a good mood. He noticed he was still holding my sisters hand and he blushed and quickly took it away. Aki was blushing too. Oooh mh sister has a crush! And I'm pretty sure Tamaki does too but probably doesn't realize it. That idiot....

We left the hospital and went home. The host club said that we would be going to some waterpark place owned by Kyoya's family tomorrow. I was nervous to be honest because i dont like to show skin and i would have to wear a bathing suit... Well they've seen me half naked before so maybe it won't be that bad and besides i could just wear a cover up. I was excited now and so was Aki. The host club was really bringing us out of our shells and that was a good thing.
